Question about switching to JP server

For US PSU you dont need the original game to play AOTI is this the same for JP?Or do you need the original game also.

You don't need the original at all to play Japanese version of AotI. All you need is a Japanese game key for AotI and you're set.

On the 11th, when AotI becomes downloadable on the JP servers, is it offline and online? Or just online.

I see no reason why it wouldn't be both. Of course, you wouldn't get Episode 1 offline unless you have PSUv1 too.

You get both versions, cause what you are downloading, are the install files that are on the DVD. Still need that game key to play offline though.
