Try not to pick an oh-so-common char like HUmars, HUnewearls, RAmars or FOnewms.

I'd gladly suggest a HUcast but androids can be a source of trouble sometimes, especially offline. If you don't want to be annoyed by anything, pick a HUnewearl, she's extra powerful, has high-level techs, and has Shifta AND Zalure (LV 20 !).

But how can we say which class you'd rather use. I'm more on Hunters & Rangers, but if you like Forces...

Fomar is probably the most difficult to raise but can have over 1000 ATP and decent MST, he has low ATA, not that you care... He can become a good fighter, nice for a magician. Well id say go with a hunter to start off so if you want a hunter HUmar is the best for begginers. want ranger RAmar alot have him and he seems pretty good i dont know cuz i use RAcast. IMO, the one thing that's unbelieveable about the FOnewearl is her basic techniques. Her RA and GI techs aren't so good. She has good evasion which is helpful, sometimes, and also good resta range, but what good is resta range offline? Not sure about other FOs besides FOmar but his Gi Spells are pretty powerful. I ran through Ultimate Mine last night with a GIfoie merge, about 1100 MST with SUmmit moon and was doing about 515 Damage, 4 Gifoies to kill a gilchick. With the FOnewearl, she could probably do about 900+ with Summit Moon, FOie Merge and a higher level FOie, but only to one target (good for SInow Blue). I wonder how much FOnewman can do with RAfoie with the proper equipment...

Start off using a HUmar, the most well-rounded class of HUnters. They are easy to level up, plus you dont have to worry about high level techs, mates, traps , just whack and whack at enemy's, Resta, and sometimes Moon Atomizers if your a nice guy.

It depends on if you're going to be playing primarily solo or in a group. I recommend against androids because Resta is invaluable to me. A friend of mine who uses a HUcast alone kept dying on Dark Falz because he ran out of mates; my HUmar, however, has a Geist Raygun, so even when IT is invincible I can still sap TP. But, if you have a group of friends or plan on going online, see what else they're doing and organize a team. If someone else has Resta, you might handle an android. Overall, I suggest HUmar or FOmar, as they are balanced for both solo and multiplay. Of course, if you have the memory, make a couple of different characters for all situations.
