I got a IShaft mission about 10 mins before 8 EST and decided not to risk it. It turns out we could have finished the mission no problem. Oh well, it will be there when the servers come back.

After working all day today (Crack of dawn till 3pm PST (5pm my time), I raced home to try to balance out all my GBR Missions...

...and managed to do so with enough time to confirm at the PPT Desk that I had, and clear out my Character's gathered pick-ups.

Glad I did so, but man - I *really* hope that the power-down takes LESS, rather than more, time.

I'm sure everyone feels the same.

what happed to the 30min, 15min, 5 min and then the 1min warning message before the sever goes down???? from what i remember they cant just shut the sever off and then do it wrong and need to shut it off again.
How can SEGAC f**k up by pressing a button to shut them down? (its quite easy to turn a light off yes?) only a ret*rd could do somthing like that.

There are probably only 3 people who have actual login accounts to do the scroll. Ruby, Edward and whoever.

The actual Network Engineers/Administrators make 5x of their salaries and are like pfff, Im not logging in just to tell everyone we are shutting down the servers.

It scrolled at least twice ( i saw it 2 times, at 20 min or so before the time, but then i wasnt here anymore, so i dont know about 5 minute warning or anything. But this time there were actually warnings, which is a good thing.
Hopefully they do things right and they are back on way before the announced time. Hopefullyic. :D :D

I think the GMs only log on PC/PS2 during the weekend at least, so I doubt we would ever get a warning about that on 360 when it happens on weekend

The GM's had their hands full watching teams in the Gurhal Cup who were competing in the last few hours today. Suffice to say that was a little bit more pertinent than ten warning tickers since they were locking in the scores. Yeah way to go bashers, now go point your fingers elsewhere.

I had to do some personal personal business at 6:20 PM, and didn't return until 11:30. I only missed 2 hours, so I don't have to worry about being outleveled by any nubs.

I had just got an Apocalypse too. And if anyone wants my Ragan Ragac, leave a message in my shop. Might go as far as trading it for a Paural, depending on how common Ragac is.
