Power maintenance

It would be pretty easy to assume they really didnt have power maintenance more like gettin something ready, Maybe getting ready for future updates etc. How would servers go all wacked out unless some changes have been made?

Take any game that has a save feature. Now let the internal battery on it die or take it out yourself. Suddenly, you're not able to save games anymore.

Perhaps the servers not getting any power was enough to make everything go all wonky on us.

only because our servers are from the mid to late 80s......recycle cans not bad servers sega....
