i just got a modem and i'm wondering if i should start playing online or wait.

its really up to you but latly people have been complaining because of this fsod corruption and many people have lost high level characters i am not going online at the moment with my main character im scared to get corrupted.

leveling is better offline but if you want to do some of the quests and experience playing with other people then online will be fun

STAY OFFLINE!!! Well for now some people clam to have AR and yes they do ban people (well its deactivating there HL but same thing) because about 3:30 EST my friends got deactivaited in a lobby. He said this kid ways saying stuff in multi colors and laming he had AR (we never owned DC im not sure if this happend in DC but someone said it did in my other post earlyer) and 5 mins later...POOF...disconected! so he logs back on and it says his HL was deactiviated he calls i go over and SEE it my self...well you guys can not belive me like earlyer BUT THIS IS THE LAST TIME I WARN YOU!!! ARs realase date was yesterday in MA just delaed to the 20th some people say its coming out on the 7th and the 18th. I dont know the actual release date but one of those 3 is when it comes out to the puplic (if it hasnt already) so belive me guys dont go online unless you really are so sure it will never ever happen to you...back to the mian post thready thing...stay ofline till sega fixs the AR or other cheatcodes from doing stuff to you.

You should buy another memory card, create a new charcter and play with him online just for fun and trade items. If I were you I will never risk my favorite 4 characters online. But now that you have the modem, why don't give it a try. I don't have it yet. I envy you all.

But I can flat out tell ya, AR ain't out. If it was, I'd be playing Punch-Out!!, Super Mario Bros., and Legend of Zelda in Animal Crossing right about now.

Im not lieing it happing it could possibly be a homemade chaet divice like my friend made for n64. Im just saying watch out just pay attention online. like if some ones 200 watch out ot if some ones 1 and doing 30 times more then you or if some one in a game is standing in a hiddin place not talking and moving. I think imma go online with a diffrent card and move the stuff cuz it really and truly hurts not playing PSO...

Well, I've been on a ton since last Saturday and had no problems with the servers, at all.

That doesn't prove they're 100% safe, but I've been having a ton of fun online, and no problems, not even lag (except in one game, on Monday, for a little while).

Hopefully, the servers are safe now. I don't care that much, though. If I get corrupted, yeah, I'll be bummed, but then I'll just make a new character and get over it. My friends will help me level again and loan me some armor/frames and stuff, too, I'm sure.

Hmmm, in your original thread you said you saw the multi colored text and the bannings yourself. Now your saying your friend told you about them, your credability just took another big blow in my opinion.

It's just not possible to diable the Hunter's License in-game.. Color chat was possible with cheating on v2, but not banning. Just doesn't work.

I dont know what happend i was in school and he text my cell on the way home went over and it said it was deativated...his story was he was talking in a lobby and it disconected and when he tried to connect it said it was deactivated. So when i got there i checked it out and he showed me and then we activated it...
