XBox: pso on xbox will it

if i get pso on xbox i know i need xbl to play offline and online but say i stop paying 4 xbl next year will the game still work offline and about the game the 2 months free ok can i use the 2 months and then pay or how dose that work

I dont think that xbox pso will work without a xbl account. so the answer is no, game is worth crap without xbl!

They might as well include it in the XBL kit cause I don't see the point of someone who doesn't have Xbox Live buying it seperately O_o

Is it going to be sold seperatly from Xbox live in the US? I know it was packaged with JP Xbox live subscriptions...I'd find it funny if it was seperate, because then you'd have to buy it on top of the Xbox live subscription(even to play offline...ridiculous) and a Hunter's License...Has MS said how much Xbox live will be after your one year subscription with the kit? It wouldn't be profitable to make it 50 a year, so there's bound to be a monthly fee after that.

japanese xbox pso owners have confirmed that it will work as long as their is a gamertag saved on your xbox(you dont need to have your xbox connected to ur cable modem, router, ect for it to work either)

whatever the fee for xbox live is, it will be annual... this is mentioned in the user agreement when you sign up... the hunter's license is another story... one i don't wish to tell...

im pretty sure your right...cuz if it has something to save to..it will use that tag... and if you renewed your account you still have everything..

Someone in Japan already tried this out... You need a valid Live Gamertag to be able to create and load characters, but you do not need a hot connection to Xbox Live. It doesn't have to be a currently active Gamertag, there just has to be one.

If you lose or delete your Gamertag though you're out of luck.

Which raises the question of "Why didn't they just put a bogus Gamertag on the disc for offline use..." But that's a whole other story. ;^)

the game works fine offline, whether your gamertag is legit or not. you never once have to connect to live for authorization simply to play offline.

dont have an xbl acct? not a problem, if you dont plan on getting online. just copy a friend's xbl acct to a memory card, and all will work fine.

how do i know this? well, lets jus say that its some first hand experience. (wink wink)

ill probably be getting online when it is rls'ed in the us, but maybe for only the free 2 month period. i just cant see spending 9 bucks a month in addition to so much else, jus for one game (even if it is pso). ST sure let me down this time
