I will be MIA from the 28th to the 4th. I think its time that i impart a little more of the reason for kitsune existing. We are responsible for the turn of seasons. Yup, we keep those annoying villains growing constantly older, so eventually they will turn to dust. Come the 28th i shall meet with my kin in an undisclosed location to begin the ritual of ending this year and beginning the next.

It failed only twice,

First time it happened we wiped out the dinosaurs

Second time the ceremony failed it resulted in rome getting screwed over, and we ended up with the dark ages.

besides, we have enough curses and wards placed around it to implode a planet if they are all triggered at once. Which come back to the point of why we need the ninjas, they won't screw up and accidentally trigger the blasted wards themselves
