Heyya all,

What do you think:

I have PSOv1 + PSOv2 for my DCAST, and I will be getting it for my XBOX. But, I want a different character class for my XBOX character.

Do you think I should delete my DCAST save file and fool around with the other classes a bit while I wait for the XBOX, or just wait?

Current character is only level 88 HUcast, but I somehow managed to get my lovely chainsaw and a legit Lavis Cannon.... so I dunno.... ideas (other than buying another DCAST memory card...hehe)?

I had the same question. I was level 99 fornewm on dreamcast version and was sick of being everyones little bi*ch and healing them, so I decieded I wanted a Melee class. I fooled around with almost all the classes and found out the HUnewearl is very good. For forces you should make a FOmarl or a good force. For rangers I personally like the RAmarl. It's up to you man. Just pick something you find the best when you use the chars.

Yeah, I'm not worried about what character class is best etc. But more so just foolin' around to find one I like as much as I loved my HUcast....

I just not sure if I wanna delete my little baby...lol

Why don't you give those items to a friend before deleting the character so you won't loose your lavis cannon and other items? That's what I always do. No matter how's the new character you make you will have a lot of powerful weapons to choose from in the bank. And also some materials and grinders.

I know you dont want to expend nemore money on your little dc but you could probably find a vmu or the four page mem card at funco or anyplace that has dc stuff for under 10 bux...especially the 4 page cuz you can make 4 chars. thats just my 2 cents i could never bring myself to delete any of my chars even tho i dont use my dc nemore...if sega had allowed you to use chars on another system i would offer to loan you my like 5 or 6 dc chars

Not to sound rude, but geez. DC cards are like $5.00 used in eb by my house. I know because I got three of them. XD If you're that anxious to experiment, I think it would be better to just pop a new cheap card in. Then you won't lose bragging rights or something. But, I hate killing saves... I have ten memory cards for my PSX, and seven on my DC.... *sigh*

Uhh... why's that exactly? X-Box has a much larger online gaming community than Gamecube, especially seeing as how X-Box has more than one online game. And don't say any stupid thing about X-Box in Japan. I'm in America, and the X-Box is doing better in America than the Gamecube.

Too late....

I wanted to give my stuff to a friend for save keeping, but I don't currently have a Hunter's Lisence for my DCAST PSOv2 so I couldn't give my stuff to anyone...

And I live in Lethbridge, AB ... oh, you havn't heard of it?... lol... There are no gaming stores here (unless you count Toys R` Us...http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif)....

I already tried shopping around for a DCAST memory card, and no luck. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

So yeah. I sent my HUcast on his way and am now experimenting with a RAcaseal.... gave me a good laugh though... I forgot about the days where all you have are handguns sabres and the odd rifle....

Don't delete your characters! Think of all the grueling hours you've spent building up your level and finding rare stuff! Memory cards aren't ridiculously expensive; I own 5 GC cards just for PSO. (By the way, I must say I am gravely disappointed that you can only save 4 characters per GC memory card. I have a 251 with over 100 blocks left on it, but I can't put more PSO characters on it. Anyone else experience this problem?)

I have three 59 GC Memory Cards (Used exlcusively for PSO) all other games on one GC 251 Memory Card.

I work at Blockbuster Video though, and I get a discount on them. Yay!

2.gamecube
3.Xbox
face it xbox games are either on every other system or on a computer or they suck. Every good game on Xbox sucks after you beat it. And the other games...they just plain suck!

Xbox don't suck.In the begining I taught most of the GC games suck, But GC is the only system I got now. Why? I found other great games (Smash Bros., Metroid Prime, Resident Evil).
I think you just need to find games you like from that system. I'm sure you will find good games in Xbox. I will never say "that system suck" again. All of them are usefull. If I got money I will like to buy all of them.

xbox came out before gamecube and still has way less games. my brother has an xbox and i think the only reason people buy it is because it is a lot cheaper than a house.lol.the games DO suck.

With the easy hacking/cheating ability because of how the Box is set up, "finding" one of these shouldnt be a problem.

IMO,stick with your current character and when the time comes for Xbox PSO to arrive in stores you can do whatever you want with the old character.

On the Dreamcast I had mainly played as a HUmar. I didn't get near as much time on other character classes, though I dabbled with them a little. When I got the GC version (a week ago), I made a HUmar, RAcaseal, and FOnewm. I'm pretty happy with my RAcaseal, and have been using her the most.
