View Full Version : Xbox 360 How do you become a millionaire!?

Immovable One

The most money I ever got was about 350000 mesetas and even that I ended up spending for upgrading my gear and resupply. That's 350000 hard earned mesetas.

What bothers me is how I see some players could just throw away money like those offering 400k.... FOUR HUNDRED K just to get some party members to help them on rare and S2 missions. Even worse are those selling equipment for around 6 million SIX FREAKING MILLION MESETA! Heck, one nice guy gave me 250k for a Confuse / Resist unit!

Where do these people get their money?

I'm currently at lvl 45ish (the first time I ever got this high) so it makes me wonder that maybe earning money gets easier when I'm high enough of a level.

I'm one of those who have a job in real life that feel guilty about throwing away more money than I could earn. Money and level grinding is like a job, and right now I feel like I'm working on minimum wage, and I got a chil.... PM to feed.

So yeah, how the hell do you get all that cash to afford all those overly expensive stuff in PSU, or even throw away hundreds of thousands just for charity?

Thanks ^_^

The first thing you need to do is level up quite a bit, though in the process of doing that you will make money. Second thing, once you are able to run S and S2 missions would be to hunt stuff that is somewhat valuable, or items that people just want. If all else fails, I say check what's on the market and check psupedia to see what you can hunt at your current level.

Just remember that with masterclasses coming out, many players will ony buy S rank equipment as the masterclasses limit the players to S ranks only.

To become a millionaire you must make it through various Haunted Theme parks without being SCARED to DEATH!!!! So you want to be a millionaire??! Death is your final answer!!

.................Ooops! That's Illbleed. Um. Scratch that.....read below..

The above message is pretty much it. Take note, lots of players pay fairly high prices for certain (otherwise cheap to sell to NPC) items. This will be more apparent when you get higher levels. Also, take note. You only have to make this climb once, with your first character. After you find yourself comfortable in your money, that means you can trade good starting money (and surplus items) to any of your other characters. Thus, it's good to keep stuff you find that isn't for the class planned for your main character. For more ways than once.

- Play a lot.
- Get to higher level so you can play S rank missions to hunt for rare things to sell. (P-Wand, Repca, Armas Line etc..)
- Synth high % weapons & armor to sell.
- The more people that are in your party the higher the meseta drops are.
- Sell materials when they are in high demand. (Catilium, Goldania, Polymers, Walnas)
- Save.
- Find a R/K and sell it for 2-3 stacks lol.
- Open a shop ASAP and sell all your old junk, even if it's only for a couple thousand meseta.
- Get a Photon Gatcha, put a rare item in it (P-Wand) you can make good money from that alone.

I wouldn't be too concerned about having millions of dollars at your level though, you should focus on mainly leveling at this point until you can do S rank runs. You won't be getting any real money until that point.

Yes the biggest 'legit' way to be rich is to hunt for rares in areas that offer several different rares with a chance of something that still sells high in player shops.

Then you can keep stocking your shop while you continue hunting for better rares to sell for higher.

Keep in mind that while S ranks are fun you will do just fine for a while with well-made A rank weapons. Keep selling S ranks you find for appropriate market-value(otherwise they won't sell and will just sit in your shop).

Once you have amassed a small fortune you can do mass-synthesis of 9 star weapons and sell off the excess in your shop(decent percentage rates) or sell them to an NPC. You'll soon be in a win-win ;)

It is basically all about your level. You play on an S2 mission you may find an item that will net you 10 million meseta. It would not be weird to find an item that could net you 1 million. In a case where you find an uber rare (Agito Repca, Armas Line, P-Wand) your reward will be even higher. After you get to the point where you can do S2 missions you may find items worth around 200k and be willing to give it to somebody else in the party cause they might be able to use it. An example of this is I was in a party the other day and somebody found a [B] Delpi, which didn't help the person cause they were a gunner. Since we had a techer in the party they gave the item to them. That board sold in player shops for around 200k at the time.

Don't forget to grab everything. I always pick a block clean before I move on.

Why? Synth materials. Especially if you need supplies (mates, traps etc) - you can synth them fro a fraction of the cost of buying them.

As an example: Freeze Trap EX. I synthed 500 of these over the weekend to max out my PM for making ranged weapons. If you buy them, they're 600 meseta each, so a stack of 10 is 6000. Ten stacks every 12 hours works out to 120,000 meseta a day, 300,000 meseta total.

Instead, you can go to the syth shop, pick up a board for 300 meseta, 10 Cold Berry for 50 meseta each, and 10 Ether Acid for 200 meseta each. Total is 2,800, combined is 6000 meseta worth of traps. I saved over 160,000 meseta synthing my own (Cold Berry and Ether Acid are also dropped materials), plus lots of time saved running back and forth to the item shop carrying ten traps at a time.

The moral: Look at the numbers and and synth your own supplies if it's cost effective. You can even synth other junk if you have the materials for it and just NPC them for more cash than the mats alone.

I just do a few laps of GBR on S2 and have one million in my inventory. :-P That's really not a hard amount to obtain, and I don't even think it's hard to get over a stack (99 million) if you know how to horde and sell stuff at the right time.

Easiest ways to make money as a level 45:

Grove of Fanantics C-A (Tear of Light)
Mad Creatures C-A (Koltova Milk Koltova Gras)
Dark Satellite / Story Mission 3 - 5 part 1 (Meteoric Metal)
Sleeping Warriors / Holy Ground C-A / Story Mission 3 - 5 part 2 (Relic Edge)
Valley of Carnage / Mine Defense / Tunnel Recapture (Spicia / Primitive Moatoob Idol)
Story Mission 2-10 (Love Letter / Inverter Circuit)
Awoken Serpent C - B (Freeze Resist / Koltova Gun)
Dark Satellite / Seed Awakening / True Darkness A-S (Agito Edge)

Level up to 100+

Fix'd.

XD, But no. Desturel makes a good point, you can still hunt mats that drop on any rank right now that are useful, like Agito Edge and Relic Edge, but I still say it's best for you to level, making those things easier to hunt anyway. If you REALLY need money NOW though, do what ya gotta do.

Fix'd.

Heh, well yes. Once you hit 100+ a million isn't a big deal. Just trying to get them started on the easy stuff.

Oh and I forgot to throw in Story mission ep 2 ch 1. Dogma Drop from the Vol Brothers still sells decently well.

Heh. I remember when you could make a mint selling love letters. So incredibly easy of a challenge, if you played that far into online Story mode.

The rarity of those who bothered with Story Mode did (and can) provide some good money.

You also often find folks who're underselling their own hunted goods.

Like finding someone who's selling Shi-kikamis' for 40k each.

Ok, 14k for free, why not.

I don't sell very often at my shop, I also don't do much gacha business, but reward Meseta for S2 missions are pretty decent. You can easily make 1, 2 mill a day, if not more by just running hard missions.

Dec 16, 2008, 04:07 PM
Or during an event like the GBR of Parum. Even if you're doing S missions, most of the time, you'd be surprised that you're dumping a million meseta, here and there. Heck, weapons in Serdote's category are dropping like crazy...and they fetch 50K each to the NPC.

Actually, would it be more entertaining that you basically say, I'll give you 1 million meseta and you only have this limited time to have 0 meseta and without any assets to your name. If you manage to do it....I'll give 30 million meseta. If not. You don't get diddly. *cough cough*

Hey, the Brewster's Millions approach. That could be somewhat easy, depending on how you do it and how much time you have. I'd probably be able to do it, I'm like a money sinkhole.

I changed the numbers on purpose. Mainly because the other person offered 1 million.

I search shops for Junaline every day. If it's being sold for less than 1500, I buy it and NPC it. Free money.

If you didn't know, the gacha's not a completely guaranteed way to make money. (They're 6 silver coins at the casino btw) You can basically put 30 items (you can stack them) in it, feature 3 items for people to see and set a price to play. You can put 3 good items to feature and put up to 27 stacks of 99 1* materials for a max of like 2600 bad items and it's pretty much luck to see what items people pull out. They could win one of the featured items on the first spin so you'd lose money but the odds of that are pretty low so usually people end up spending a lot before winning one of the featured items.

For a safer way of making money, just level up. Doing the new S2s for the past few days, I've gotten like 15 nanopolymer, 35 par walna, a battlestopper board, and an armas line board. (That's like, what, 45-50 mil?)

350k is not that hard. You can get it in an hour or so of running S2s just by the meseta drops and mission rewards. I got lucky the other day and received the Armas Line board in Electronic Brain S2. Sold it for 55 mil in a heartbeat.

I have a full time job that requires alot of travel, when I am home I have 3 kids occupying my time, but by level 45 I was a multi-millionare. Im not worth the ridiculous amount of meseta many of these folks are, but I usually have at least 20-40 mil spread across my 4 characters. At your current lvl forget about searching for valuable items to sell. You need to learn to play the psu market, supply and demand apply to everything psu included, learn to navigate the visophone and player shops, start small with solid weapon investments buy low sell high you will make your first mil in no time

It also helps to keep track of what updates might be coming up so you have an idea of what will be in demand. For example, before the Parum GBR update all people really wanted was light armor and dark weapons but now dark and lightning armors, and light and ground weapons are popular. Once you get leveled up, a good way to make some money is to play a lot on the friday we get an update w/ new items. That way you can hopefully get a few of the new items and sell them for higher prices to the people who want the new stuff right away.

Wow, I just came back from school and I got 3 pages worth of answers already.

Thanks guys ^_^

Looks like I really have to just keep playing.
I already set up a shop ever since I could afford the Open Shop ticket (which was weeks ago). Just this afternoon I just earned over 120000 meseta from selling the junk I got last night. If it does get better, then earning millions in the future is indeed not impossible like you guys said.

Which reminds me, I'm applying for a higher paying job after the holidays.
Administration just rejected my boss's request for giving us employees a higher salary T_T

Remember, before you sell anything in your shop, check what it sells for at the NPC. You wouldn't believe now many times I see 9* non-kubara weapons selling for less than 50k and 9* armor selling for less than 104k. Don't be one of the people who gives out free money. Sell it for the NPC price or higher if you must. Don't think you are giving someone a deal by selling it below NPC value as the person buying it will most likely just be someone who is going to turn around and sell it to the NPC.

I say when you get high enough in the levels go psycho wand hunting a lot of somewhat valuable stuff drops there and stuff 17mill stuff ^_^ Sleeping Warriors S2

I just did one run of EB and got a [B] Armas Line. Instant 45 mil, but I'd rather make the armor for myself. For some stupid reason neutral Armas Lines are worth more than 20%'s, even though you have a higher success rate with neutral.

well im on pc/ps2 where price are more inflated but money making remains the same. First get to lvl 85-100 then the trick is to hunt what ppl want while staying away from the hot missions. im pretty much telling u to solo. im pc/ps2 land here are items i hunt for to sell and thier prices i usually get for em

Rattlesnake 40 mil. ppl whine and bitch about this item but they honestly arent that hard to get me and my friends for like 7 in just 100 runs.

psycho wand 35mil {B} again not that hard to get the mission is easy as all hell you dont even have to finish it just abandon at the last block

Ank Zagza {B} 7mil
Mugentek {B} 12millish
both of these can be gotten at awoken serpent.

Agito repca 65mil
Needle Cannon 30mil

these are just the mega guaranteed to sell items.

The trick is to hunt what ppl want but are too lazy to solo for like the above items. now just keep in mind that money is great but dont go crazy trying to get it. unless you buy all of your shit theres no reason to keep over a stack. this is true as noone really sells melle weps at high percents for decient prices.
