Supposedly authentic conversation between U.S Navy battle group and Canadians in 1995...

Canadians:...We ask you to turn 15 degrees to avoid collision.
U.S Navy: This is American battlegroup, we ask you to turn 15 degrees
Canadians: Negative you turn 15 degrees
U.S Navy: This is captain of USS Abraham Lincoln, second largest U.S military vessel, we're accompanied by 3 destroyers, 3 crusiers and multiple other support units. If you do not change course, we will be forced to undertake defensive actions...
Canadians: This is the lighthouse speaking. Your call...

I wish I could see the captains face when he heard that....

Yeah, I've read it.

There's a lot military jokes, or the ones between airliner pilots:

(Munich, Germany):

Pilot: (in German)This is Lufthansa flight No. XXX-XXX-XXX. Requesting permission to lunch.
Control (In English): If you want to say something, say it in English.
Pilot (Now in English): I'm a German pilot, on German soil in German airplane. Why the hell do I need to ask in English here?
Some voice (in perfect British accent): Because you lost that bloody war...

This doesn't mean we can't have any fun with it.

Also, I found the story about the guy who earned lifetime price reduction for airliner tickets by buying puddings totally awesome.
