Eva Mendes is not hot. She's not pretty. She's not gorgeous. Stop saying she's amazing.

Her body is gross, her face is gross, and her voice is disgusting, I'd rather have a bee in my inner lobes.

Tory, Grant, and that other chick are stupid. The majority of their testing is a joke.

And they're annoying.

Matter of opinion dude. Tory cracks me the fuck up, personally. And I think Kari is beautiful.

Most of the time they have no idea what they're doing, or if they came at the myth a different way it wouldn't be labeled as "busted".

Their attitudes also seem pretty juvenile, stuff you'd laugh at when you're in middle or high school.

What about Adam and Jamie? Are they okay in your opinion?

Cool high standards, OP.

You're doing it wrong.

You don't watch it for chicks, good science, or awesome humour.

You watch it because when a water heater turns into a fucking rocket and blows the fuck up, or a column of methane-filled soap bubbles gets set on fire, it's goddamned COOL.

It's explosion porn. Seriously.

Adam and Jamie are great, it's the kids that ruin it. =/

Okay. Just as long as we have that straight.

The only mythbuster I usually roll my eyes at is Tory. He usually seems the least like he actually knows what he's doing or is willing to spearhead any of their silly projects, silly though they may be. Grant always seems to be able to fix some part of whatever they're working on, and Kari sometimes steps up to be water tortured or launched off a bridge or something like that, but Tory never seems very involved with the finished product. Adam and Jamie are obviously dominators.

I can't think of who Eva Mendes is, and I refuse to IMDB/Wikipedia/Google her, because that's like giving up. I'll think of it eventually and maybe have more to add to this discussion.

Eva Mendez Who's that (definantly not on my "fine babes" list)

Tori Grant and Kari are kinda annoying. no wonder they always get the dud myths to bust.

Watch American TV. Get annoying shit. but if its good, expect it to be exploited worse than child labour.
Watch Austrailan TV. Get nothing new
Watch British TV. some times discover an awsome comedy series that only lasted 1 season (but alot of crap must be waded through to find it).

American TV is made for people who would strugle against a ameoba in a IQ test.

I find the show entertaining. I care little about who or what they do as long as I get to see things 'experimented' in the name of science. ;]

Eva Mendes? *gives up and Googles*

Eh. Not bad I guess. Her face kinda scares me though.

And I most certainly agree that Adam and Jamie are the best ones on that show, but the other three don't bug me that bad. Though I do have to agree a lot of times their humor or ways of going about things certainly raises an eyebrow.

.....I always thought Kari was kinda cute though.......

Hmm... here comes the long-winded disagreement:

I think that Eva Mendes is pretty hot, though not on the top of my list, she is still well put together all-in-all :D

Tory is the funniest to me in the group probably because I can relate myself very closely to him, being that I tend to screw around more than work, and I tend to hurt myself a lot like he does (the bike jump was funny as hell).

And, Kari is pretty fine too. ;)

I agree.

And they usually create more destructive machinery. In a program in which you turn a frozen chicken in ground-to-air missile it counts....

I don't really mind them that much, but I wouldn't cry if they were taken off the show.
That said, didn't Adam and Jamie ran the show by mostly themselves in the beginning?

On completely unrelated note, an inside family joke of mine is that my dad owns a copy of Jamie's beret. It always cracks me up.

So we've established that the professionals > what are probably interns.

Still, I find the show entertaining, though I don't watch it too terribly often. There are a few times where they've been flat-out wrong about things (such as the "Can a plane take off on a conveyor belt?" thing, which heavily implied that the conveyor belt would counteract all forward momentum of the plane, from what little I got to see of it), but for the most part, it's because the methodology they've used to test things is relevant to my interests.

The whole "let's find a way to test it, then if at all possible, blow the crap out of it" thing.

This.

Back on topic: Eva Mendes does look rather nice during a couple parts of The Spirit (such as in the place with all the suits of armor, and the copier), but I'm not familiar with ... whatever it is that she does, otherwise.

I don't think there's much to really be obsessing over, however.
