Well, my grandfather of no greats was Norwegian, as were his parents, and his parents' parents, and back through the generations.

One part of my family lived in Austro-Hungarian Empire. Another in Prussia.
On top of all my father's family is likely to be of French descent.

All say they're Polish.

The funny thing is, my family surname is actually unique, and is almost definitely not Polish.

My late grandfather (from father's side) discovered that we might be of French descent.
It's so messed up, that I no longer think of myself as a member of any particular ethnic or racial group.
