FOCL. in Visitor messages.

I noticed there was a 1000 character limit that has been recently implemented in the visitor messages section(12-24-2008 first discovery). It wasn't there before, and its bloody annoying. I Write alot in my own profile and 1000 charactes in way too resctictive. I'd much prefer it to be something at least in the number of 2500 characters.

I'd assume its to stop people spaming the hell out of other peoles profiles with lethel walls of text.

According to the footnotes from the vBulletin update in December, it looks like the limit was implemented then.

I've raised the limit to 2500 characters.

Ah good work there Ryna. that'll help immensley. all i need to do was ask nicely.

I only chose 2500 characters as a random number. i thought ah well that'll do. sounds nice enough.



Now all i need now is to have my post count frozen here at 187. i wonder if thats even do able. if it is, do so, post haste!

Freezing your post count is possible, but involves a lot of work on my part. You'd have to give me a good reason to do that!

Wouldn't it be simpler to just not show post counts on posts, and show them in profiles only?
