How many megi-photons or megi spheres or whatever do you need when the dark wing comes out?

9900 roughly...keep on stacking them up. Much easier to just save a few stacks up and do the damned runs since they drop the drops/speres and such

You need 99 Megi-Spheres to trade in for the dark wing.

That's the equivalent to... uh... ????????? Megi-Photons. (Seriously it's so many that it's not worth it)

Meh. I'd rather have a hizeri/stamina or red/stamina equipped, but that's me.

At the going rate for megi-photon in player stores (360 side) that's 17.8 million meseta.

I'll take the meseta.

I'm hording a few stacks just to soften the blow because I don't know how much I'll play the event this time (or if we'll get it stateside) I think that would replace my other auras for my techer....really wish the black heart had better stats :(

With people saying you'll get enough spheres... how exactly do you acquire them? Do you get them as end-of-mission rewards during the Darkness event, like Weapons Badges? Are the box drops? Monster drops? I barely got enough Badges during MAG, to get everything I wanted (which wasn't THAT much), so I'm wondering if I'll be able to get enough Megi-spheres to get the Dark Wing and all of the other items I want...

10 Megi-drops = 1 Megi-sphere
99 Megi-spheres = 1 Dark Wing

100 Megi-spheres = 10,000 Megi-drops
100 Megi-photons = 10 Megi-drops
100 Megi-drops = 10,000 Megi-photons
100 Megi-drops = 10 Megi-spheres

I do believe my math is correct on this.

100 spheres = 1,000 drops = 10,000 photon!

*sigh* I hope we get Lightning carnival soon, and then Shred The Darkness shortly after that.

The Dark Wing is the last item I need to complete my main character's conceptual persona and overall visual aesthetic that I've wanted for the past 1 1/2+ yrs...

it ends up being 29,700 photons. Just do the event missions and save yourself the trouble of finding room for 300 stacks of Megi-Photons.

megi-spheres are easier to get than gold badges. you really don't need to worry about gathering up photons to get them since you'll get plenty.

You have no need to worry about getting megi-spheres, they drop like candy in the event. They also batch trade drops -> spheres so it isn't like trading grinder base s at the Juice Stand, if you go to trade they upgrade you for as many as you have. Ich gods is it simpler and I can't imagine why all trade in missions aren't like that :roll:
