Concerning Grinders..

Is it completely random when you put a base into a board?

Or is there some sort of trick that you can do to increase your chances?

Completely random. Some people tired other things like taking them out at "the right time" or not to long but not to short. But i still believe its random.

so it's random.. heh.. because i remember getting 10 S+10 by synthing all 5 togehter.. but i guess its random and just lucky. then tried it again starting go S+1 S+2 S+4...lol

I think it's random, though I do claim that Murphy's Law kicks in during the synth, because I only ever get +10s when I don't have 2* or 3* luck. (i.e. if I can use them to grind right away, they won't happen)

I tend to only get S+10s when im not expecting it but when i want them..... S+1.....S+4 S+<10 lol

Well I use to make grinders and when they came out like S+1 right when i saw that i would go to my dashboard(360 Users) and i could re synthesize them but I haven't done that in a while, and doing that when you make a 10% Weapon doesn't work >:(

S grinder synthing is terrible. Last time I made about 300 and no S+10 at all. Now I just sell my bases and buy S+10's when I need them.

Well you do have a better chance at pulling a +10 if you do 5 at a time compared to 1 at a time. A new grinder glitch has just been revealed on the 360 so none of this matters.

I don't think they meant "random = equal chance of getting any grinder," they just meant there's no way to influence the outcome. You're right that it's harder to get S+10 than S+1, but there's nothing you can do to change the odds.
