360: help with expansion pack

i've recently downloaded aoti, and whenever i try to use it, it asks me to purchase a guardians license. now, the issue is, im only using offline and cant afford such a luxury =P does AotI have an offline mode or is content automatically adjusted to suite the first story? Or do i have to unlock free mode first?

Any explanations will be greatly appreciated XD

what version are you trying to play? i understand there's no offline content for the 360.

That is correct, only PC/PS2 players have the "luxury" of playing the expansion offline.
