What are the odds that a 3rd party memory card will corrupt?

Just curious. Hoping to hear from some people that use one and are unscathed as well.

I am 90% confident that your card will corrupt.... wait, I didn't get past what to do if sigma isn't given.

It largely depends upon whether it uses compressed memory or not. If it does, then you have a considerably increased chance of suffering data loss. Few memory cards state that they use compressed memory, but if you're buying a, say, "50x Super Big Lots Space Card!!!", you can safely bet it uses compressed memory.

I'm using a Mad Catz memory card 59 so I guess it lowers the chance of corruption somewhat then.

Only thing I have right now to play with. ;_;

1. I don't know why the hell yu would ever use a mad catz memory card. madcatz is THE most unreliable 3rd party company. and i know people who do have them and used their cards and say it was the worst because corrupted all the time. They went out and bought gc memory cards.

I use nyko 8mb memory card for stupid azz C mode Chars and ive had no problems with it what so ever. but for characters i actually use, its nothin but ninntendo brand baby. I wuold suggest saving the 15 bucks to go get a nintendo brand card its useless to keep playing otherwise because i can gaurentee u'll be corupted.

Well, guess I won't shoot for level 200 as a goal for any characters on that memory card then. Hopefully, they can at least last long enough until I can get an official card and then possibly just hunt for rares.
