Most hated enemy attacks/status abnormalities (Episode 1)

These are only Episode I creatures and abnormalities. What do you think is the most annoying attack that affects your status?

Nothing, and I mean nothing, is more annoying than dying in one hit when you bloody well ought to stay standing when hit in an area. Rrrg.

But you can always dodge Megid... lol not to say you're wrong, but you can't dodge Paralysis when the Lilies do the Paralysis.

On this list, none of these really bug me, but probably lillies paralysis if i was out of sol atomizers. The worst by far in the game as a whole is Ul Gibbons Gizonde....grrrrr, they have longer range then my FO and they can do it through walls.

Megid. Playing mostly androids, I don't have to worry about a lot of those. But I'll agree with Kupi. It is SO frustrating to be killed in one hit when you can take anything else enemies there can dish out...

I have to agree, I hate Ul Gibbons and there stupid Gizonde.

Dark Force's Ice attack is definatly the evilest enemy attack in Ep. I. It's bad enough that you're frozen. But being frozen WHILE Darvants are tearnig you to pieces? That's just evil.

Nothing is more comic than you figure out you're all out of antiparalysis,sol atomizer and telepipe after being caught by a lilly paralysis. You can't cast ryuker, and can't make a pipe because you lack the telepipe. so you have to actually WALK your way out of the caves. There's a little trick to avoid Lily Paralysis (admittedly an evil status as well): if you have Anti on your status bar and they start their scream, you have a second or two of action left to hit the Anti button. If you get paralyzed in the middle of an action, the action still counts, so you actually cast Anti while Paralyzed, removing the paralysis! O_o Tres useful.

if you get paralized by a lily just let it poison you. poison overrides paralysis.

the absolute worst i would have to say is the deldepth's megid. they can get behind you fast and it can roll along the ground or underwater. combine that with a sinow zoa pounding the snot out of you and you get frustration on a stick.

I can't stand ob lillies. When vulmers and govulmers occupy me an ob lilly shots megid at me and before you know it, it is all over.

Now that I'm playing challenge I'd have to say that paralysis is the most annoying. Though I play an android sometimes others don't, the worst is when all three of the others are human/newman and when they're near the lilly when it does it's paralysis technique. Slow does come in a close second on Ultimate Mine, unless my FOmar is properly equipped.

Paralysis. The other stuff you can heal, I still find it ridiculous that you can't cast Anti on yourself for the one spell it's most integral. If no one has any antis or wont give them to you then you are screwed since the damn thing doesn't go away.

Am I the only one who gets pissed off by the "Flowen" status effect while fighting Olga Flow? Being a HUcast, nothing really affects me. I break out of ice in a second or two, I can easily run from shock, and blindly swinging while confused usually works long enough for me. But being turned into an old man while fighting the final boss of the game (not to mention that hella powerful attack that the Gaels do) is the worst. When it happened, it lasted like 5 minutes too!

It's a tough call between the megid and electric shock for me. But I would have to go more with megid since I only carry a few scape dolls on me most of the time.

You must be playin' version 1 or 2 then huh? 'Cause in Ep 1 and 2 there are no State Maintenences...just Cure/Poison etc. I sure do miss it though...
