Spoiler I guess
So I'm playing this mission long mission here, the one where you loose one of the NPC thinking that he's dead or something only to get him back after killing those 2 vehicles that form a giant Robot (boy, when I said this game was Anime base, I wasn't kidding).
Now for my questions, is there an end to this mission and how much does it pay anyway?

I assume you're on the lunar base? Yeah...that mission is WAY too long. It has to be at least twice as long as any of the other missions, and you loose a NPC too...Not sure why that one had to be so long. I can't remember what the payout was, sorry. I usually just skip through that part and go onto the next mission without really caring how much I made. I do recall not getting payed for a few missions though.
You can save and quit if you like. You don't get to go back to town in between like the early missions but there are 3 (4?) different missions that run together and the game treats them as seperate missions so if you do quit, you can start over at the area you were in last.

Me too!
I left my DS on for like 3-4 hours already thinking I would have to start over.

Actually, more spoilers:
After that boss, you next area you fight 2 boss battles consecutively.
It might be easy for most of you, but since my L and R button doesn't work, I can't use everything to my advantages. I have to play like a caveman.

Yeah, my L and R started to get funny a few months back, but started to really die a few weeks ago. Didn't help that I got a lot of DS games over break, so I traded my old DS for a new one for about $58. It was quite the good investment! It's pretty hard to play most games when R sometimes doesn't work, and L isn't very responsive >_<

Which is why I started playing touch-screen games.
I'm considering having my DSL repaired ($75), self repair (~$55, may break it), or find a used one no one wants :(
