If you have a character in psu offline extra mode can you play with it on aotl and have the extra free missions and items or do you have to start new game and cant use all aotl items in extra mode psu offline?

AoTI offline on PC (PS2?) only - you can transfer an extra mode character from PSU to AoTI offline. You can not use any offline character online.

Hope that clears it up.

That's a no. Online, you have to start fresh.

i mean i have the game on x box 360 can i transfer it offline extra mode psu to offline extra mode aotl or are all free missions and items of aotl added to extra mode in psu

To my understanding, there isn't an offline mode in the Xbox 360 version of AoTI.
