...Has anybody even considered it?
If it can't be done, could someone elaborate?

I'm just curious.

NO ONE has the recourses needed to run a private PSU server except companies.

This will likely be locked, so I'll say this. No, there will probably never be one, let alone a good one.

The most popular a game is, the more chance that a person knowledgable enough about servers and host client coding will want to start one. Since there's so little people interested in PSU, I suppose no one would bother. In any case, PSU seems to have a ton of data handled server-side, like mission data, drop data, etc. So that means extra work recreating all that data for stuff to look like on the real servers.

I suppose it could be done by anyone proficient enough in coding and hosting with a lot of work, but I don't think it will be done considering the current fanbase PSU has.

Also, inb4lock.

Ill be straight up

I know we shouldnt be talking about this

but long story short:
Is it possible? Yes
Is it hard? Yes
Will it happen? No

The encryption on the server is so big that it could take years to crack, and thats assuming someone was to try

OK, I think the message everyone conveying is: No!
So, that should be the end of it.
