Please only people who have played the game for more than a week and got into very hard at least. Do not base it on a DS game but as a PS game.

Ive been with PS since Online, and this is the greatest one yet. Will it be succeeded? Yes probaly, but for know, it is the greatest of all, IN MY OPINION, (Don't troll me for saying this if you think another one is the greatest.) and definintly worth importing NOW(Or downloading on the R4. I chose option no.2)

Well I haven't reached Super Hard, but I'd say it's roughly a 90/100.
Definitely a step up when compared with PSU. xP

I based it off as a DS game rather than a Phantasy Star game. I am not a big fan of the Phantasy Star series. I gave it 100%, but my intended score would be in the high 80's, low 90s.

I think it's surprisingly good, because I wasn't quite sure PSO would work on the DS. Well, really more of a mixture of PSO and PSU, but it's great fun regardless. I gave it 80, which shouldn't be "all right"(80/100 is good, a B, not a C).

I'm trying to be positive and say "it's alright" over "it's lame"
There are really some stupid glaring issues with this game that are steps backwards from PSO/PSU and some good improvements
In the end I'm giving the game the benefit of the doubt because 1) it is on DS after all and some compromises had to be made to pull that off 2) it is the first multi-player dungeon crawler on the DS, so it's treading new ground

Funny enough. This game is the first one to truly test my DS-lite Gamepad. I found out that the gamepad really needs a lot of breaking-in to get decent. It's still quite stiff and you have to press harder than you like to have it do the upper diagnols. It makes the game feel not as good as it could be. But I wont blame the game for that. It's more of the way they designed the DS Lite, for which many users will have to pound away on that D-pad until it eventually loosens up and makes play more comfortable. It's feeling a bit better than it did a month ago.

However, outside of that, it's pretty decent and a very nice effort to bring Phantasy Star to the DS.

I was really disappointed with this game. It doesn`t feel like an actual game as much as rip off of a bunch of other stuff put together. "Tales of..." scenery, with generic anime characters, where you fight the heartless, kill anubis from ZOE in endless tower, and search for the same items from PSU\PSO. I say it`s definately an improvement from previous games as the battle system feels refined and decently balanced. The story is mediocre (well, good, but nothing heart stopping), but what really got on my nerves is that there`s no creativity in story missions. All of the missions pretty much amount to "mindlessly play through this stage and kill the boss." They don`t take very good advantage of the game mechanics. Offline single player really turned me off to this game, none of my friend codes were ever online so the game quickly found it`s way back into its case and there it has made its home.

Honestly I do give this game merit. It`s probably one of the best phantasy stars to date, and on the ds it`s assumably fun to take every where and play online. What killed it for me were the rip off from other games and the lack of inovation to game play. It`s the same core game as PSO/PSU/PSP, the dodge roll and sheild didn`t make the game stand out enough to rationalize playing this over anyone of the other previous games.

I voted Superb. In reality I give the game a 90/100. I played PSO since the v1 days, and PSU was absolutely the biggest dissapointment in my life. No other event was more depressing to me, the game was an absolute and utter failure in my eyes. PS0 is a breath of fresh air, coming from a game that was so horrendously bland in every single way. PS0 is what I wanted from a successor to PSO. I'd rather it not be on a portable system, but on the bright side it does have the whole portable thing going for it.

i'm giving it an 80 but with one or two more areas, more rare weapons and the ability to freely chat with other players, it'd be a solid 100.

The game is good but I already stopped playing. I'll probably get the english version when it comes out.

It's definitely good, but I'm reconsidering picking up the US version. For me, the game really doesn't have any lasting appeal. Once you get to a high level and get good weapons, there's really nothing else to do. (100% completion isn't a biggie for me, unless if the game is worth a 100% completion.)

I'd say once you start, it's 80-90, but after a while drops to 65-75.
