Well I had never reported anyone before so I thought it might be like most sites where like 1000 people have to report someone then like 6 months later they did somthing but like I said never had to report someone on this site before so I wouldnt know. But its so ridiculous because I had never met or talked to this person before.

1 Report is all that should be needed. As soon as the report is seen by a mod who can handle the particular section the complaint is in (specific forum, front page news comment, profile comment, etc) it should be handled.
