I reset my materials on my Hucast (lvl 69) and gave him 60 swift materials. The logic was that I'd be able to complete a lot more combos with my twin brand when the enemies miss and therefore don't interrupt. Unfortunately, even this rather substantial boost to evasion doesn't seem to have made any difference whatsoever. Are swift mats wasted on a HUcast? My lvl 77 RAmar with no added swift evades a lot more. I don't mind resetting my HUcast again .. and ...

Following up on that question, what's the general consensus on the most effective mat/mag usage for a HUcast? I play solo 99% of the time and, obviously, simply want to be as effective a killer as possible. All power and a little hit? Is defense desirable at the cost of power? Give me your thoughts!

Finally, what's the most effective element? I basically stopped using traps because they're a waste of time, but I have a few lvl 5 element weapons that I can change. What's most effective? Burn seems ok, but it only lasts like 5 seconds. Ice is useless. What element should a HUcast put on his hand to hand weapons, and why?

That's all! Hope to get some good replies!

Well I'm no pro, but I would like to weigh in a bit. I think that you'd be better off trying to play off of the HUcast strengths rather than covering for their weaknesses. I don't think it's worth it because since the HUcast evasion starts low I'd imagine you'd have to put too much of an effort into that one stat (materials, mag, armor) to achieve the effects that you are looking for. Raw power, or say power and hit or power and defense combined with some good placement and rolling skills would be your b est bet I'd imagine.

As for element, try stun, heart, risk, celeb or zalure. Stun is great at high levels. Burn is also great on weps at high levels on regular mobs.

Thanks, Tuscan. That's pretty much in line with the picture I was starting to see and it's good to have it confirmed. I'll begin saving up for power mats and rebuild him after that. I'll also try changing my weapons to stun and see how that goes.

Other people are still more than welcome to give their 2 cents!

i say 80 power. no need for def, hit, swift. if you have a weapon with lv5 element, try to change it to heaven if you want. random instant kills lol.

I do currently need some hit. I'm missing way too much in the last area of super hard, but I'll use an old mag with hit until I naturally have enough. Maybe with a couple of hit units, too. I don't think I have a heaven element yet, but so far stun is turning out a lot better than ice.

Anyway, I'll take your advice and go all power. That's kinda the whole point of a HUcast to begin with :)
