Surgery time - IT'S OVER!! [Archive]

I said I'd let everyone know; so here it is:

Going in for surgery tomorrow morning for tumor removal, I expect to be in the recovery stage for a couple of days.

Oh, and because they're working on my arms as well, I don't know if I'll be able to get online and type and such; but I'll let everyone know how I am as soon as possible. :3

Thank you everyone for the well wishes!

Surgery went very well, they removed 12 tumors. 4, from right fore-arm, 1 from stomach, 3 from left thigh, and 4 from right thigh. The ones in my right forearm weren't removed, (cause the doctor couldn't find them, and I haven't seen them since the day before the surgery. He said sometimes they go away, so I hope that's the case.)

I'm super sore, but doing excellent. I got vicodin. :wacko:

I did have a small limp before the surgery, (which has since been made a little more noticeable), and I kick ass. I suppose I'm a wee bit like House. :wacko:

Well, at least now you're out of surgery (which sucks, speaking from experience), and you have some really good pain meds, so enjoy yourself doing whatever you can think of while you're high out of your mind :D

I have another surgery coming up in a month or so; jaw surgery. Yay for drinking out of a straw for a week or more!

Hey! Glad everything went well. Just make sure to take plenty of time to relax and let yourself heal.

Man, I don't remember what sort of pain medication they gave me after I had surgery a few months back, but it made me quite loopy. Glad you don't have to deal with that.

I remember after my double surgery (Splenectomy and stuff & my port put in)...I was on a Morphine Drip for 3 days...Yeah...Good times! =P
