It's nice. Good perspective.

The foot closer to the viewer doesn't seem to connect to her correctly though. And the other has too drastic a curve in the shin.

Didn't comment on that yet, so I will do now.
I really like your lining style with hard and bold lines, if you get what I mean.
(I'm terrible at explaining myself about art in english.)

The coloring indeed makes it look even better, with simple shadings that blend well with the lining style, but I'd say your stuff would already look really good in plain B&W.
Amazing job on the background also ; the ruined landscape with the fading sun (or is it rising?) really adds up to the whole.

Actually, I understand quite a lot. *Laugh* I like to use a lot of black, I think it makes it more interesting.

And to be honest, I don't like to color. Well actually, it may not be that I don't like to color, I just think it looks better in Black and White. The problem I have with color, is that I'm forced to define things that I leave out in the inks on purpose. I leave some parts blank for a reason.

Um, I think it's fading. I seem to have a thing for sunset while coloring. It makes me sad when I leave a comment on someone's piece edging them to make background for their piece, and all I get back is "I don't like to draw backgrounds" Seriously, who does? It's a rare trait.

But seriously, thanks.

Awesome stuff, though it took a while before I figured out how the feet of the girl in front were positioned >_>

You'd better be proving that you can color again

Figured I'd update with the inks. ^^"

Finally figured out how to edit topic titles. *Laugh*

Also, the relics must be the hardest background to draw, WAY too many curves fer my taste.

One word: "PRO"!

I still think you should color it

^^" Thanks. I might if I get some free time. I wasn't planning on the background to turn out so bland by the end.

I love the comic, with the characters in the Relics. You've captured the action shot really well, and I love the background in that one. I know what a bitch it is to draw that area, but it looks really sharp when you get it right, as you have. I love the fluid, curving architecture of that area...

Anything with a lot of curves are a real pain to draw in perspective. The relics were actually a lot worse than I expected. It's very hard to draw.

Though thank you, it's good to know my efforts weren't in vain. :D

Nice sketches - makes me wish I have some inspiration to sketch or draw again.

Thanks. It's really hard to do much of anything artistic if you have no inspiration. Sometimes I have to force it out to get much of anything on the paper.

I also swapped the title and placed a link to the sketches on the first post. Figured it's no longer "Just a Couple of Sketches", more like a full sketchbook.
