How do used copies work?

I'm planning on getting PSU for the 360 but all I can find are used copies.

If I get a used copy and Ambition of Illuminus from the Xbox Live Marketplace, will everything work ok? Or should I keep trying to find either a new copy or a used copy that was never used online?

i actualy did that today for my brother and there is not problem with that the game disc isnot like on some pc games where you get a code for it

Pretty much what Knight said. There shouldn't be any issues with disc keys or anything like that. As long as you get a disc that's readable, you should be fine.

Are you sure? I thought there was some kind of 30 Day free trial code you had to use.

I bought a used copy and working fine.

There shouldn't be any link from the disc to your account. It's all through xbox live. There is also no free trial, at least I didn't get one.
