Spamming the event will give you a decent income just from the meseta drops and junk weapons. You'll get a ton (in theory) if you manage to get some of the new rares from the event.

Do the bonus mission (b), and hope to get the boards on Stage 4, or a psycho wand board on 5 or 10.

I got a few Falclaws from the event and sold them at ~3.5 mil each. The prices have been dropping, though, as more people are selling them. Those, combined with the meseta/junk weapon income, have netted me about 20 mil in the past week playing about 2 hours/day on average.
