Other ways to have a certain element for weapon

I know you can have a certain element by making it with a photon, but is there other ways to have a certain element for a weapon?

not really. you can either find the pre-made weapon with a pre-determined random element, or make it the element you want ( some specific weapons can only be 1 element).
you can't change the weapon's element after it's been made if that's what you're asking. :)

If you don`t like synthing you can go for a gunner or a techer. You level elemental skills which you can attach to any weapon. Tech and range weapons are conviently neutral so it`s not a pain like hunters who have to go out of their way for multiple synths. But yeah, your question doesn`t make alot of sense.
