The latest xkcd comic (http://xkcd.com/548/) points out that Amazon's Kindle (http://www.amazon.com/Kindle-Amazons-Wireless-Reading-Generation/dp/B00154JDAI/ref=amb_link_83624371_1/189-3042609-3937933?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_r=0S78K6EECSG11P51ZGR5&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=469942651&pf_rd_i=507846) provides free web access to Wikipedia and Wikitravel. This does, in fact, make it just about the nearest possible thing to an actual Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, as we may ever see.

DO WANT.

Speaking of the Kindle, it really strikes me as a bad name. I can't help but think of kindling, and from there it's just a mental half-step to reach book burning.

I would be marginally interested if I didn't already have an eBook reader app for my G1 (albeit a rather buggy one)

Entry on *CENSORED*:

Straddling the cultural boundary between Germanic and Latin Europe, *CENSORED* is home for two main linguistic groups, the Flemings and the French-speakers, mostly Walloons, plus a small group of German-speakers.
