Burning shot. I'm a bit of a pyro. :D

Plus 25% HP over a fairly short period of time makes quick work of larger enemies. (Even if Dark Shot will do 45%, it takes a lot longer.)

Too hard for me to pick one overall, so I'll pick from the 3 types:

Striking: Rising Strike, especially with a fire sonichi
Tech: Megid/noszonde (can't decide >_<)
Bullet: ice/dark bullets (freeze + virus = bwahahaha!)

Yeah I picked more than one PA, but I like too many of them ^^;

I don't have one overall that is my favorite but for techs my favorite would be Gizonde, for striking my favorite would be Moubu Seiran-zan. Bullets are just bullets, none of them stand out to me.

If I had to pick just one, I'd go with Frozen Shot. At Lv41+, the knockdown and Lv5 Freeze will disable just about anything.

I haven't played them all yet, about half, but I like Rising Strike. There is a satisfaction to make an ememy fly across the field as you jump up and bash them.

Bogga Danga, really is powerful against a target with 2 or more hit spots.

Used it alot in the vanilla version also.

You know if I weren't so in love with durega, I would have to agree with you. Rising strike is hands down the best single saber PA for protransers, and no other class benefits more from that weapon.

Striking: Dus Robado, Buten Shuren-zan, Ikk Hikk, Renga Chujin-shou. The first two I like for practical use, the second two I adore for looks.
Bullet: Before GM was released I really liked killer shot but it is far less effective on a GM. I'm also a fan of Barada Chamga for lulz.
Technic: Nosmegid, rafoie, regrant, gidiga. Not all of these are the most useful but I'm fond of them none-the-less.

My favorite has always been Dus Daggas (http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b77/Zorafin/psu20070517_125051_045.jpg). I've always been a student of the thought of K.I.S.S., and nothing's more simple than this PA. It's strait damage, without any unnecessary windup, gimmicks, or pitfalls. It also looks simple, definitely my favorite looking PA in the game. It's especially beautiful with a bladed polearm, such as the A ranks or the 12*, and with Fightmaster's attack speed boost and gold streaks.

Buten comes in second, if only because of this (http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b77/Zorafin/psu20070517_133634_168.jpg).

I'm probably the only one here, but I really like Spinning Strike. It's hard to hit with, but on a big mob, it does some really nice damage for a one-handed weapon.

There's a few others I like too, but I think the only contender from what I've used would be Assault Crush. I like the quick two hits, then the dash forward that can hit a guy like 5 times just in the dash. You can also make it curve around and hit a bunch of guys, or do the two hits, then dash in the opposite way you were facing. A very very mobile move for the "swordsman-on-the-go."
