Hey everyone, Im trying to get myself ready and help others figure it out at the same time, with the launch day celabrations event on the X Box and PC/ps2 servers coming up on the sixth during the hours of:

10:00a.m. - 11:00a.m. PST (PC/PS2)
11:00a.m. - 12:00p.m. PST (Xbox 360)
1:00p.m. - 2:00p.m. PST (PC/PS2)
2:00p.m. - 3:00p.m. PST (Xbox 360)
4:00p.m. - 5:00p.m. PST (PC/PS2)
5:00p.m. - 6:00p.m. PST (Xbox 360)

My gues is, like certain GM events where you could go to a lobby to hear one discussing events, were gonna get those news bars sort of like the ones we see in the casino when someone wins a jackpot to let us know the event is about to start, but I cant say for sure we'll get a starting anouncment, or that it will be a GM run event like everyone is speculating.

Now, my time zone is on the east coast united states, how can I (and the other readers) use our computer's clock to calculate our time zone to prevent missing the event?

EDIT: Apparently I simply add three hours onto PST time to get the east coast time for the event.

EDIT: The fallowing link seems to be a good time zone converter to use for this:

Don't they teach this in school these days?!?!?! To convert from PST to EST, add three hours. When it is 6 o'clock PST, it is 9 o'clock EST. When it is 12 o'clock PST, it is 3 o'clock EST. Do you really need your computer to add three????

What sega needs to do is realise that this game has a worldwide player base and they really should start to list other timezones aswell, at the very least list gmt aswell. :(

Howboy, i just count PST as UTC-8 so for me itīs UTC +1 here.

9 hours + over the schedule time to get where i am.
Well, at least that means i wonīt miss anything lol.

UTC = GMT. Whichever you feel sound better.

couldn't the USA use GMT as a standard like the almost the entire glove? this could be better for non american players lol

Pacific Time is eight hours behind from London.

PST = -8 hours on GMT

So the times are:

10:00 - 11:00 PST (PC/PS2)
11:00 - 12:00 PST (Xbox 360)
13:00 - 14:00 PST (PC/PS2)
14:00 - 15:00 PST (Xbox 360)
16:00 - 17:00 PST (PC/PS2)
17:00 - 18:00 PST (Xbox 360)

18:00 - 19:00 GMT (PC/PS2)
19:00 - 20:00 GMT (Xbox 360)
21:00 - 22:00 GMT (PC/PS2)
22:00 - 23:00 GMT (Xbox 360)
00:00 - 01:00 GMT (PC/PS2)
01:00 - 02:00 GMT (Xbox 360)

And how hard is it to look up GMT? One simple Google search.

It's easy to check, yes, but it gets a little more complicated near the sumer/winter time change, specially when every zone does the change when they think it's better, not all the world at the same day.

Sega should do it for us, can't they chat with their UK pals and ask the time? xD

4:00p.m. - 5:00p.m. PST (PC/PS2)
5:00p.m. - 6:00p.m. PST (Xbox 360)

Mountain Standard
11:00a.m. - 12:00p.m. MST (PC/PS2)
12:00p.m. - 01:00p.m. MST (Xbox 360)
2:00p.m. - 3:00p.m. MPST (PC/PS2)
3:00p.m. - 4:00p.m. MST (Xbox 360)
5:00p.m. - 6:00p.m. MST (PC/PS2)
6:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. MST (Xbox 360)

Central Standard
12:00p.m. - 1:00p.m. CST (PC/PS2)
1:00p.m. - 02:00p.m. CST (Xbox 360)
3:00p.m. - 4:00p.m. CST (PC/PS2)
4:00p.m. - 5:00p.m. CST (Xbox 360)
6:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. CST (PC/PS2)
8:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. CST (Xbox 360

Eastern Standard
1:00p.m. - 2:00p.m. EST (PC/PS2)
2:00p.m. - 03:00p.m. EST (Xbox 360)
4:00p.m. - 5:00p.m. EST (PC/PS2)
5:00p.m. - 6:00p.m. EST (Xbox 360)
7:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. EST (PC/PS2)
9:00p.m. - 10:00p.m. EST (Xbox 360

And how hard is it to look up GMT? One simple Google search. The majority of company's around the world Use gmt as a standard. Its just another lazy/unprofessional act, just look at the way your (pc/ps2) servers are being handled at the moment, with the hacking and error 60/62 whatever one they decide to stop you all from playing the game with. It will kill of that server as I cant see how people will keep putting up with it.

No, I dont need the computer to add three, I needed to know that all I have to do is add three from the PST time, asking how to use our clocks to find out was meaning to imply, "wheres that time conversion feature that I coulda sworn was built into the windows clock program."

None the less, thank you for the help.

I tried finding this infomration on the internet but I kept getting dud sites and most of the time conversion programs I used each gave me different answers despite my attemps to put in the correct information in the right places.

As far as each country and their own time zone goes, as much as I hate to add another weird time clock to annoy people, I would like it if there was a "Universal time", meaning no matter where you are in the world the universal time is still the same without any modification.

It is the Sega OF AMERICA sight, you know. I assume that the Sega of Japan sight uses local time zone times to announce their events as well. Maybe they should go back to beat time.

But the japanese servers don't offer their service, oficially, to non japanese players, our servers offer this service worldwide.

not really sure if i get ya here but i think there is. not the same time for all over our planet but there is a universal time. that is the time in london / uk. i dont know if you care about this but did you know that the reason london is the central time is because (cant remember 100% here) its something like london is the exact point on our planet which alignes with other planets. or something along those lines. id need to start reading up on all that stuff again.
all about time space.

btw i saw someone in here say that PST is -8 from me. Im confused now. when i searched i got +8.
i really dont know what time to be ready for now :/

This event will either be absolutley genoius or ouright chaos...I HOPE I can get it right in the first time though, since I think Ill at best have two time periods to work with between my work shift is dead in the middle of them.

Also, PSO World front page has updated the original article with a time clock that is apparently tuned for us east coast time zone, which seems to vaslidate that its three hours (and somehow twenty minutes) from the base time of the event... I hope its right, but now that theyve changed the prizes, Im not so sure I want to panik over another "real hand gun"
