Charaters being deteled? [Archive]

I stop my psu membership it ends on March saturday the 14. Will sega deteled my characters? I plan on coming back april 12,2009.

Or should i go to the main website of psu to get this question anwersered?

I think it can only be deleted after 6 months but i doubt they will anyway so your characters will still be there.

I've heard that they wait quite awhile, but don't know from experience.

no...they're too lazy to delete them. They will stay till the servers DIE.

I think I have only read of one case where a person's characters were actually deleted.I have heard of people who hadn't played for over 2 years and still had their characters, so I think you will be fine.

yea i took a 10 month break and my stuff was still there....i didnt pay for the whole 10 months so it was inactive...

The pc/ps2 billing site says:

"Are there any penalties for cancellation?

No. You can cancel your GUARDIANS License account at any time without penalties.
Note: Your username and password will stay active. You will be able to use them for future subscriptions.

So if they do delete your account, try to sue them or something xD

The whole "delete characters after x amount of time" scenario was never practiced.

My account was inactive from March 2008 until January 2009 and my account is exactly how I left it.

The only difference was I had a couple of gifts from MAG in present boxes in my room. :p
