Dill weed
Orange peels in boiling water
Burt's Bees lipbalm
Blooming linden trees

Burt's Bees smells great, clears up your nose a bit.

Almost useless as a lipbalm, though. Carmex is great, but the smell reminds me of dental-work. :(

Oh, lemme add a few things.

Basil
Rosemary
Jasmine Tea
Camomile Tea
Jasmine/Oolong Tea
Brownies baking
Freshly baked bread

Agreed on all points, Solstis and Leviatham.
And

Omgtheseareallaboutfoodandcomsumables

I stopped because almost everything I could think of was food.

Okay, wait, I just thought of another thing that smells great but does not go in your tummy:
melting wax (some varieties of scented candles are ok--mainly vanilla and the less fruity-floral ones [exception for a miraculous candle me mum bought which smells EXACTLY LIKE LEMON BARS; I had to apply all my willpower to resist biting into it]--but I really like plain candlewax [paraffin or beeswax])

Coffee, first thing in the morning.

Though I may be in the minority on that one.

Good coffee smells great but tastes terrible to me... leading me to question why I consider it "good" at all.

To each his own on the taste. I know some who can't stand the taste but others who swear by it. I guess it also depends on the blend and how you prepare it (cream, sugar, smoothcreamya- oh dear).

Frakking heretic.

Coffee, anytime.

Naturally, but there's something special about it to my brain as I'm waking up.

Certain types of wood, can't list them all off the top of my head.
Mom's homemade chicken soup.
Pine trees. (Might be in the same category as wood.)
Tact.

But, you've never even been close enough to know that. O_o

I agree with Nitro about rain. Besides that, I don't really like the smell of a lot of things.

I'm also in the camp of "love the smell of coffee, can't stand the taste."

I love the smell of the air on a warm spring day.

Roast chicken is one of my favorite food smells

As weird as it may sound, I love the smell of my parent's apartment. It's been less than a year since I moved out, but it's still something that resonates very strongly with me.

I don't know if it's because of where I live but during the winter at night it smells good. :3

New European car smell!

Gasoline.

Yeah, for some reason I got used to the smell of that too- I figure it's because my dad used to spend a lot of time fixing up (and when he was younger, race) motorcycles and I used to watch him restore them. Likewise with Burning rubber, most people can't stand the smell but I love it

Speaking of acquired smells, sharpies.

inb4 "that would explain a few things" or other pitiful attempts to convey that I sniff sharpies on a regular basis

We don't have to say anything Tessu, you kind of explained it yourself.

Also, we've got a plant out here in Arizona that smells just like rain. The leaves (if you can call them that) smell great when you walk by them, and after it rains, it smells beautiful.

Do they still make Mr. Sketch scented markers?

[Google search]

Yes, they do.
Man, those were awesome/encouraged substance abuse in young, impressionable minds. I still think of those faux fruity scents when I think of grade school art class. Too bad my intervening experience with oil painting has awakened me to the fact that Art smells like Early Death rather than Fruit Loops.

I never particularly liked those markers because my friends would call me over to sniff one and then shove it into my nasal cavity.
