I like the idea of the "hardsuit" look from anime about strong, agile girls (Bubblegum Crisis etc). Or I just experimented till I found something I like. Whatever sounds better XD

Ok so, I've been posting a couple of videos on youtube lately. They're nothing special. 1 run of PF split into 2 parts and a sounds demonstration of JP voices for those who are curious about the patch (PC only).

While in the mission, game crashed at the dialogue choice, and it just displayed some game texture on my screen. Tried to take a picture of that, and ended up with this. Odd. Also I hate playing the game on my widescreen and then having the shots not be widescreen. Just weirds me out.

Well, I think it's fine. We're currently on page 4 of the thread. One page per a day (its currently April 4th) works fine for me. You can, after all, only look at frozen pose pics so many times before you've seen them all.

That trailer is better than any cinematic (or content) the Finished PSU has. I was lovin that PSO Epic feeling that trailer had, but sadly PSU ended up far less epic than it could have been.

Got on tonight not expecting much. What I got was pretty refreshing. It started out as an invitation to run Egg Thieves. That evolved into a first-time visit to the Seed Express for a returning player, and as a whole, the run was a blast, with Guardians and Seed flying all over the place in a blender of blades and explosions! :D

Oh, I guess that should have occurred to me, since it's the only FF game I ever liked enough to beat. The name is from Sumerian mythology though. Damn college, making me focus on the real world.

Like a lot of mythology names, Tiamat is overused in a lot of stuff.
Really, it had more chances LionHeart had taken it from some game or stuff (there is a metal band called Tiamat as well) than from mythology. :P

In D&D 3.5, it's the mother of chromatic dragons, for example. Even though a gigantic five-headed dragon is quite close to the original mythological one.

Know what's the biggest improvement the supplemental update brings?!
Being able to take pictures without things such as the HP bars, the map and all that stuff! Huzzah! Sadly, I always take my pictures while pressing shift for cooler angles, but shift+print activates/deactivates the new function I just talked about and does not take a screenshot. Ugghh, serious business here, will take me a while to get used to that!

Soloing RoF S2 is a pain, really. As Gunmaster a lot of attacks kill me in one hit, which really kills the fun and the difficulty of the mission; cheap =/= difficult.

I have found seven Burn / Resist so far, on two occasions two in the same run, really annoying when you're after Vijerina / Power.

But soloing has some nice aspects:

Congrats on the Guld, Kef. The mission's a pain to solo with anyone- as a fF Block 2 takes me forever, and in B3 I end up getting stuck inside the Gol Dolva a lot, which is really irritating (especially considering fire ones hurt/randomly burn anything near them). Still, I think it's an awesome mission if you have a team; just not a good idea to solo it :lol:

I think they have it so that people will kills things faster, so we faster get to our monster kill count rewards.

It does promote team work, but team work or not, I still receive 1900 damage from Rygtas and 2500+ damage from Gol Dolva while having 32% or more Storm Lines of their elements. That is just stupid, not difficult.

I decided to buy one, all items I want never drop for me (280+ runs and no L/KK). If I ever find one, I'll sell it, heh.

On the bright side, I did a Magashi Plan A run without getting hit once, was funny, too bad I can't make vids.

People seem to be having really odd luck with Pakuda boards. A friend of mine took a few days to get one; I found one on my 2nd run (hel yeh Pakudac). Now I need to grab another so I can make the Tenora. Not that I mind, what with the billions of Catilium/Metapolymer/Cladorian/Mot Walna that drop in the mission :lol:

I was the same with L/KK though, I did over 150 runs with nothing; a friend found 2 or 3 and gave me one :wacko:

Even though some people might say it´s a easy drop, for some it´s hell to find.
Personal luck is also involved.

As Hrith, i usually have a very hard time getting things i really want.
Like Vijerani / Power for example. Guld is understandable in it´s rarity.. or as i say in Swedish "Guld = Gold" as that is what it means for me, rofl.

I bought Pakuda, so it's fine, but now I have to find a Vijerina / Power, because I'll never spend that much cash on any item.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one doing that story mission as a Masterforce since all of the videos I see on Youtube right now are Cast gunmasters doing the run. I know one other person who is doing it as a beast fighmaster (Vande Val), but I haven't see any other masterforce.

Yeah, I know logically I can't be the only person doing it as masterforce, but you have to wonder sometimes.

Do you mean how to make it play back in high quality? Or how did I upload a vid in high quality? Namine answered the first question. For the second question, you just have to encode the video with a high enough bitrate to trigger YouTube's HQ flagging.

Yeah, but time is of the essence!
I solo it in 20~25 minutes, that's picking up all items (breaking pillars for polymers, etc.)

I tried a speed run as human acrofighter and the fastest I could get was 27 minutes. The biggest difference is probably skipping the pillars and not picking up stuff. That and you have paradi which I did not. I still used mostly the same strategy. Cards and slicers for most of the run. Cross Hurricane for Gol Dova.
