Isn't the Eye of Sauron the final boss of The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age?

(Talk about taking artistic liberties.)

*shrug* how should I know? I only read the books and watch movies. Never have cared for the games

That's probably for the best.

(Although, Return of the King was a fun co-op brawler.)

The Third Age was hilarious in how badly they tried to force it into the mythology. Your party is always just a few paces behind the fellowship, the characters all feel like soulless clones of the fellowship, and then there are the ridiculous moments when they try to "RPG-ize" the universe. Like the aforementioned "Eye of Sauron is the last boss" or when the elf can summon water horses.

I like how when Dhylec actually does invade this thread, nobody seems to have noticed. All your training was for naught~

No offense, but Sauron's minions look rather pathetic compared to The Seven.

Especially Hannah/Hinnah combo.

And unlike Sauron, you can't really cut up the Conqueror.

Well, it's not that Sauron comes back. I think the idea is that when you see the Eye of Sauron fall in the film, it's actually because The Third Age crew took him down.

I don't know, it's ridiculous.

YOU FIGHT THE BALROG WITH GANDALF.

I have to admit though, fighting the Balrog sounds kind of neat

But we can all agree it really makes no sense.

I want to play Wild Arms. :]

The first Wild ARMS was pretty neat. I liked the setting a lot (although the battle system never did it for me.)

The second had a few neat things as well, and I enjoyed it during a gaming dry spell.

That's about all I can say regarding the Wild ARMS series.
