New Downloadable Quests

Has anyone gotten the new downloadable quests from one of their Japanese friends yet? I got a hold of two of them, not sure which they are, but I'm having trouble figuring it out. First, they came in a screwed up format, so it was impossible to get them onto the VMU. Now I've fixed that but Phantasy Star doesn't seem to recognize them even though they show up in the DC file manager as "PSO/Data Download" file types. I'm thinking I used the wrong filename.

And try downloading the revision c files. Revision a doesn't download, revision b downloads but PSO doesn't "see" the file, and revision c _should_ download with the correct filename. And let me know if it worked or not or if you have an idea what I might be doing wrong. Thanks for the files. Are you sure both files don't just make up the same quest though? PSO______005 appears to be significantly larger than PSO______004 which leads me to believe 004 is the quest information and 005 is the quest data. They both have the same name: PSO/Letter from Lionel. Anyway, I just grabbed the two VMS files from your page and made my own VMIs. Then I downloaded them to my VMU and loaded up my saved game. I went to the Download Quest section and there it was, Letter from Lionel. Now I can play the new quest. Does your friend have the other two Japanese quests too? Anyway, thanks again.

If anybody wants the quest, I've put the necessary files up on my computer temporarily at http://24.112.188.179 ready to be downloaded to a vmu. They'll only be there for a few hours. After that, if you leave your address I'll email them to you.

I have been working on this forever.. Would you do me a huge favor and send me a private email to shughes@dalsemi.com telling me what you had to do to get it to work. This was a big learning process for me to get it as far as I did.

Also, I won't be able to get at the files until about 6:00pm CST. If you can't leave them up that long, email them to egocentric@sega.net.

As far as them making up the same quest, I just got two attachments from a friend. I had no idea what they were, but he thought they were two different quests. One quest is fine with me.. I mean, one is better then none..
