STD server maintenance? Its UP!!

Just wanted to know what time severs go down and come back up.
im in eastern time

its 11PM PST...and the maintenance can go for a few hours. maybe 3 hrs?

Dunno about EST time though.

they kick us by 2 a.m. and usually back up by 5 or 6 am, depending on the mass of the update/maintenance.

According to JP, maintenance will be starting an hour earlier tonight. It's still estimated to end at the same time, but then again that's only an estimate.

If what STH says is actually the case, that's 1AM Eastern for those who can't count. Midnight for Central, 11PM Mountain, 10PM Pacific.

Its 3:35am now for us UK'erz and its about another 2 hours or so right untill the maintenance?

I'm guessing it will take between 3-4-5 hours long. So safe to say try getting on about 11ish my time, it probably be finish by then.

K, the server maintenance just started, and i'm just wondering if u guys know in general how long server maintenance like this takes. I'm probably gonna stay up until the event starts, so I'm wondering how long of a sit I'm in for.

Where's the sense in all this (staying up late)? It's just a longer wait and sometimes the servers re back when you wakeup and once in a while the're not even up when you wake up.

Seems like a lose lose situation.

5 hours usually for these things sometimes longer if something goes wrong (if)

I actually get to sleep tonight, but Edward will be up checking in on things, so he'll update the PSU website when they go back up. :)

I'm a little confused on this, uh.. i hope you mean the PSU servers. The PSO servers have been down for years. But if you do mean PSU then yeah, the servers aren't up yet. Give it anywhere between 30mins and 2 hours.

psu servers are being updated for the event. its only been about 3 hours so give it another 2-3-4 more hours.

This would be because the event has NOT started.
The servers went down 3 hours ago. There really isn't a projected time as to when they will be up, but RubyEclipse guesses about 1, to 2 more hours, if not more due to it being a decent-sized update.

BTW the jp site claimed maintance from 14:00 - 20:00 and we kno how they are but at least they try to meet thier deadlines unlike *caugh caugh* american companies
