What weapons should I use?

My primary weapon of choice when playing a ranger is the shot (spread). I haven't decided what my secondary weapon should be (one that would hit for damage rather than hitting multiple enemies)

Currently I'm using a Meteor Crush with Inferno Bazooka. What other rare weapons should I look out for once I hit V.Hard and Ultimate. I want to keep it to a 2 weapon limit.

I don't have it, but apparently the Frozen Shooter is a super-good rifle. Here's the page for that..... Frozen shooter is amazing. Should be a must have if you're ranger.

if you're playing BB or can get GC online, once you have a Frozen Shooter upgrade to Snow Queen by using a Photon Booster on it (obtained from PD trade in Gallons Shop). it doesn't combo attack but each shot can penetrate so if you line up the enemies they will all be frozen. other than that, something like Guld Milla or Red Mechgun are good weapons.

Check the shops from time to time. They have random items and you'll eventually come across a Charge mechgun weapon with good hit%. Make that your secondary weapon.

No one likes to carry multiple weapons, but eventually you'll have to (1 for multiple enemies, 1 for long range (or special) and 1 for single target damage). Something to keep in mind as you level up and figure out your weapons.

Charge mechguns are lame, in my opinion.

Like Aisha said, Red Handgun is really good.

The Frozen Shooter is good, however, it's not terribly strong compared to some of the other weapons. But if you're quick, you can freeze a few monsters and switch you you shotty, and have at 'em.

My standard setup for a ranger is as such:
Single target - L&K14 Combats (I don't have any Reds or GMs)
Multiple targes - Spread Needle (It's damage isn't insane, but it fires so fast that it easily beats almost every other spread weapon)
Utility - Frozen Shooter (Don't leave home without it)

Any form of Mech, Rifle, and Shot will work wonders for a RA, seeing as how they have good ATA. The ATP can be fixed, no biggie. I also think that Charge mechs aren't that great. I don't like the idea of having to spend Meseta to do damage, when I can do it another way -- Berserk. Hence, which is why I'll take a M&A60 Vise over a Charge Vulcan anyday. Also will take Gush/Geist over Charge. My personal preferences.

My only recommendation weapon is Bullet Crush, its a great easy way to restore hp. (if your a cast and your going solo that is :P)

Unfortunately, I won't be able to get the Frozen Shooter without making another character (My ramarl is Viridia). But others I might look out for though.

Chances are everyone here uses 3 weapons instead of 2 then.

I almost exclusively use the Red Handgun/Saber right now, so that's only 2.

I actually carry 5 or 6 with me. Double Saber, Gae Bolg, Vulcan, Supressed Gun, G-Assassins Sabers, and Musashi (for boss fights). Even with all these weapons, I don't exceed 15 items in my inventory, since I don't carry healing items with me (ha! Who needs 'em when you got my assortment?) Of course, though, the weapons I carry also differ with the level I'm playing -- the weapons I listed are for Caves on Ultimate.

Well, a Viridia can get Final Impact and for single, I guess a Ruby Bullet could come handy.

i have 3 weapons right now, Daylight Scar, Master Raven and Dragon Slayer but my aim is to have Sange & Yasha, Black King Bar, Red Sword and the Master Raven.

i'm not that keen on Charge Vulcans either. got loads of them in my bank, 1 has 25% hit, another has 25% hit and 5 have 50% hot (if anyone wants to trade for one let me know) and they've been collecting dust ever since i got them. i like the Blizzard special, freezing enemies and pummeling into them is great. the EXP stealing one is good if you use it on a rare enemy. the Master Raven steals 40 EXP per hit when used on a rare Desert enemy on hard.
