GHGTV room makeover contest! [PC/PS2/XBOX360]

Have you always fancied yourself as a budding designer? Well now is your chance to show off your skills in the Gurhal Home and Garden Television room makeover contest!

We are looking for the best room designer in the Gurhal system, if you think that is you then listen closely. We are looking for designers to design their "My Room" based upon a theme of "Celebration/s". You may use any room themes, items and decor to portray this theme in the best way possible. Once all the entries are in the judging panel will visit all of the contestants rooms and judge them on 3 categories, Originality, How well the room portrays the theme and the choice of music. The best 5 rooms will then be voted on by the PSU community to find the winners.

The prizes are as follows.

1st place will receive: 15 silver casino coins, 10 million meseta and pictures of their room will be posted on the official PSU website and on www.PSO-World.com

2nd place will receive: 5 silver casino coins, 5 million meseta and pictures of their room will be posted on the official PSU website and on www.PSO-World.com

3rd place will receive: 2.5 million meseta.

How to enter

The cut off date for registration will be may 14th, any entries after this date will not count. on may 15th the judging panel will visit all of the registered users rooms and make their decision on the final 5.

What kind of celebrations? are you talking about holidays or seasonal events or any kind of celebrations? (included personal celebrations). Sorry I'm not an English speaker so I have my doubts :P

Casino coins get dedicated to the winner and runner ups accounts by GM Edward. Very similar to the mission spotlight rewards.

Its what you interpret as a celebration Landman, it can be anything that could be interpreted as a celebration. If you need examples, things like birthdays, parties, new born baby, graduation, Valentines day, a wide verity of things. We want to leave it open to you guys as much as possible without narrowing down the room themes and items you can use.

Hmm, it occurs to me that, as far as I recall, meseta has a drastically different value on the two servers.

Regardless, 10 million meseta is still nothing. Can't even buy you a 5/10 Kaza-kikami on our servers. Still doesn't hurt for some pocket change though. :p

Its more about the casino coins really which are a lot harder to get, especially if you are trying to get a chev edge etc. However the meseta is a nice bonus, especially on 360 where its worth a bit more than PC.

This is true. Of course, there are a few people out there still with casino coins from our 10 per day bonus. My brother got up to around 4 gold total with the help of that!

Of course that doesn't mean I don't need those coins... :(

You can get 30 coins in one month without betting, the interesting part about the contest is having your room in both psow and psu websites (specially for 360 users without the screenshot button lol)

Just a quick update, please make sure that you have a shop in the room that you are entering, so that we can find your room using the search feature.

Sometimes my shops don't show in the shop search by name, and I have to look for an item at an specific price to access it with another of my characters...

They did, but they were having problems accessing rooms, so they wanted entrants to put in GHGTV in their ads. They gave us another week after announcing it on the official forums, to put it in our shops.

This is an urgent reminder to anyone who has entered on the 360 side. Please check your Official forum inbox, we are still having issues accessing the rooms on the 360 side. PC however is fine and is currently being judged, PC results will soon be posted on the official PSU forums. All 360 entrants have until June 1st to do the following;

Unfortunately we are still have problems entering 20/24 rooms on 360. To solve this problem once and for all please either PM me with a time and place to give me your card OR Search "Purple Flower" under the shop search (The room you are looking for is "Iceman"). Visit the room and leave a message on the bulletin board and make sure there is something in your shop and it has been updated after the maintenance tonight! Final judging will commence on Monday June 1st if your room is not accessible by this date you will be DQ'd from the competition.

See? I knew this would happen with the shop search, I didn't know it was different in the PC version thou. I always have a hard time entering my alternate characters rooms with any of my characters :\
