Best Swords?

I'm considering going Fighmaster on my lvl 108 beast and I'm just wondering what some good swords are to buy. Just looking for some oppinions really.

Then again, Slayers with the De Ragan line combo (That is, if you want to wear fire only, lol) will be better in the long run, unless of course you have 10/10 Repcas. Slayers will be better when we get the [b] to make higher %s of course. Get Repcas for now. ;o

If I were to do the De Ragan Line/Slayer combo do you know what the stats for that would be?

With the armor:

Has a set bonus with De Ragan Line: +85 ATP, +65 ATA, +100 DFP.

Add the bonus stats onto the grinded stats.

Essentially, a 10/10 Slayer would be better than a 9/9 Repca, were you to use the set bonus.

don't spend your money in a crappy repca whit low porcent or slayer better buy a huge cutter, Svaltus sword, de rangan slayic or kan yu they are cheap and easy to get with 42%, up i hit harder than a guy with a repca my gravity hit 5k the first hit whitout the perfect hit i'm just saying is not worth it to spend a lot of money in a sword who does not make a lot of damage just becuz ppl think it's gonna make a lot of damage just try another options and don't make ppl let you down bcuz you don't hava a pallete full of repcas :-D

Kan Yu is the best sword because it looks amazing.

Kan Yu, De Ragan Slayer, Flowen's Sword+, and Agito Repca are the ones that come to mind.

If you're looking to stay within a budget for a while, I think De Ragan Slayers would be the way to go.

Agito Repca's at 5+ grinds would be your best bet if money is no option. De Ragan Slayer is good for five elements. This is due to the De Ragan Line armor because it is limited to fire element. If you are in an are with ice creatures you will not be able to take advantage of the bonus unless you are willing to take extra damage. Otherwise there are many different swords to choose from if you are not just a damage whore. Svaltus Swords are good if you want to have an abundance of PP and Chainsawds and Chainsawd+ are also good if you want a little bit of rejuvanation at the trade off of power.

Unless you're rolling in several stacks of meseta... I'd suggest either Slayer/Slayic for budget swords or Svaltus due to its insane PP and medium power.

Chainsawd+ is incredibly underrated as a weapon. It's a little behind the other swords in ATP but the HP regen is crazy. Other swords I'd recommend would be Flowen's+ (Dark only though), Agito Repca (if you can get 4-5+ grinds), and Kan Yu if you're male.

De Ragan Slayer is good, but good luck getting one with a usable %.

Edit: Oh, Soda Promoto is also very good considering how easy it is to get.

Alot of the weapons are dropping like crazy a kan yu board is easy to get on an S run of ROF...and the De ragan slayer and slayeric drops on the S2...I have collected both there....though most attack me for the Slayer...lol...the ATP is insane on it though...I think its a little over 900...Etheral has the stats...and BTW that's with no grinds...people go crazy over grinded weapons...I know it hurts more but...I just really appreciate the weapon...lol

Go with Kan Yu's and Svaltus Swords. These are your best bet in terms of money, and power combined. Don't let anyone tell you that buying a repca +5 is worth it. (See Ethateral's post) and also long swords are not even that good at all when stacked up against the other weapons on FM. So you would just be doing yourself an injustice by spending 30+mil just for a 20-26% 5/5. When you could buy a 46% Svaltus for around the same money, and do much more damage.

Oh, and De Ragan Slayer @ 3/10 has 1000 ATP+. And that's the only reason people every buy those things aside from the way they look. >_> If you don't care about % too much, then just get a De Ragan Slayer and grind it to 3. But then again, you wouldn't do as much as a high percent Svaltus Sword, or a Kan Yu. Hell, you wouldn't even do more with the above repca, or De Ragan Slayer, even if you had a 34%+ kan yu, or svaltus.

you can get high % svaltus swords for cheap and they have a good amout of PP which is great since fighmaster's use more than other classes

For a fighmaster class i have to agree with using the svaltus sword with a few grinds and high element percentage. I cant see the point in paying the 30+mill for repca only to have it useful against one element when i can pay less than half of that and get all six elements with better prercentages.
