Flowen's Greatsword+ VS Ageto Repca

I have yet to use the two ,i am still a noob somwwhat .I am interested to know which i should invest in because of the sp effect on the flowen's im guessing it will do more damage because i do take a lot of hits ..And on the other hand the Ageto Repca is going to be much more reliable because i dont have to worry about my health.I have seen them both in action and i like both of them ,but i just don't know what would be better for me (LV88 Beast, Fighmaster lv2

i think you should u get neither if your a fighmaster you should get a de ragan slayer (not slayic) 3/10 de ragan slayer is about the same as 5/10 repca but the only down side there is no rly good percents on de ragan slayer's also if use the armor de ragan line you will get a set bonus with the de ragan slayer ^^ hope this helped

That is a pretty HUGE down side if you ask me. The players that don't care about %'s are the ones that should not be giving advice to others.

My suggestions is neither and to use either a high % Svaltus (the PP is spam-tastic) and/or a Chainsawd+. Repcas are nice but trying to get both a high grind and a high % is almost impossible. The Greatsword+ is nothing special overall especially as it is Dark element only.

there are really good percents, just rare since its still new. although i think 30%+ is enough.

Im going to throw the cost-effectiveness argument out there. Most people are spending 10mil or so on shit agito repca's with crap grinds and crap %'s. Go buy a 42%+ Kan Yu for 8mil. Thats what I did. It will hit harder than your supposedly "amazing and rare" 2/2 18% Repca... Seriously. Repca's really SHOULDNT be worth anything unless their grind gets above 5. Otherwise theyre weaker than most of the other S rank Swords.

If it must be a repca you'll need to run Hive missions on S2. It's an area drops so you might be there a while. Then you need to run there some more for the 10 Agito Edges it wants to synth it. Then pray it comes out a decent %. Then pray you can grind it past 5 or it's not really worth investing in.

From a sword user standpoint, I agree that making high % svaltus swords would be far better due to them having almost double the PP of any other sword out there at even grinds. But to each their own.

+ the svaltus has a huge hit box
