GC: Any good Rangers out there???

I'm a Level 81 SKYly RAmar (MegamanX) and I need to know what a good weapon for me would be. I'm wearing The delsaber buster and shield. But I need a good gun. My best gun is a MARS-MK2 or whatever it's called. Or you could say my best gun is the Gatling+9 cause you gotta double the ATP of a machine gun (since it only list the ATP of one gun). and it's kinda hard for me to find a Vulcan because i'm a SKYly. So somebody tell me a better gun that I, a SKYly, am able to find!

In Ultimate mode, SKYLY probably finds more JUSTY than DRAGON SLAYER.

As for the overall outlook... things don't look too good. You may want to consider making another character with a RAnger id or join teams instead of making them.

Other than common 9-star rifles, Skyly doesn't find many useful ranger weapons. Justy is probably the best for speed, ease of finding, and the special is fairly effective even in Ultimate. Skyly can also find Guilty Light from Ob Lilies in the Ultimate Cave. At range, that's decently strong and can strike multiple targets that are close together. Beyond that, the best choice is, as mentioned before, either other characters with different IDs or playing online/multi-player under other IDs.

Pffft, no ID is worse then any other, just because the common finds of an ID may be another class doesnt mean shit, because that ID may make up for it in another area. Dont start your character over because of "strategy" skills, because you can get by with any ID with any class.

being a skyly RAmarl as my first character, i found good ranger weapons and hunter weapons, the best was a Guilty Light with (0%/0%/0%/60%)

then a Victor Ax, Delsaber buster & Shield, Stag Cutlery

I have a Guilty Light but it's too slow for me. And I still haven't found ONE special weapon on Ultimate and I got from level 81 to 84 and still no Special weapon lol. I'm kinda pissed if you know what I mean. I want a Justy bad.

If you want a really rare Skyly Ranger rare, you can go for an angel harp. It hits harder than a guilty light, but is only a rifle. I played fake in yellow for almost three days straight before I finally got one from a Pal Rappy. I think it is well worth the trouble because now, I have a wep that not many people have, and it rocks. I also carry around a Final Impact, for those rooms that are a little too crowded. Hope this helps

As a skyly you shouldn't have any trouble at all finding a justy. My fonewearl is a skyly and she has a stockpile of justy's in the bank. Best place to find them is ep2 in ult. Not sure how well a ranger can handle ep2 at your level, but I do find a ton of them there.

If you play online and you can catch me on there I'd be happy to give you one though. They don't have the greatest % on them, but fully grinded they're pretty decent weapons. I use one on my ramarl and so far it's still the best rifle she has, not counting her hell laser (one hit kills). If you can handle ep2 vr temple, just run through it a few times, it drops out of a box I believe, and is fairly common there. If you've already gotten past the temple and spaceship, do jungle or seaside runs.

Otherwise, drop back to vhard mode and do ruins runs. Again, it's a common rare for skyly, at least it has been for me, ranks right up there with last survivors, bleh.

Not sure about boxes, but I do know that Ob Lily (VR Temple) and Gee drop JUSTY at a fairly high rate.

I hate to tell you this, but Skyly is more of a Hunter Section ID. I'm not saying it's bad, just Greenill finds Rifles, Purplenum finds Mechguns, and Redria find Shots more often. I'd probably create a character with a more ranger orientated section id.

Don't worry about your ID, though. I'd have to say Justy as well, I have one and I use it more than any other gun I have. It's weaker than some of my other weapons, but faster.

I am a Pinkal RaMarl and i have no trouble finding weapons, but i wanted the ID for tech disk drops. I do wish that i found more rifles, a beam in ultimate mines is not my idea of a good rifle.
