Update going on?

I see there is new content due 7th May - is this why I cant connect currently, or something my end?

If this is just scheduled maintenance / update time, how long does it normally last? It is always the way when I get a day off from work, I cant play what I wanted to lol

Yep, it was announced before the server shutdown. They are adding the last update to the event. It should be back up in the morning.

Or I think they last anywhere from around 3 to 6 hours depending on how big the update is if you plan on staying up. I'd guess maybe 4-5 hours for this one?

Servers go down at 11 PM pacific so that would be 7 AM for you.

While I was waiting I was on PSUpedia listening to samples of the jukebox discs...man the old PSO tracks send a shiver down the spine for the 2000+ hours my main char gathered.
