PSO PC Trial Version question (Print Screen)

I have the PC trial and wanted to use it to get good pix of my characters, but when I hit "Print Screen" and then go and paste into MS Paint, I get a big black image. Is that supposed to happen? I've seen someone that did get a picture off the trial, but I don't know how they did it. Help?

you need to create a folder called backup under SEGA/PhantasyStarOnlineTrial2/
