Wanted to get a picture of the lobby before the decorations were removed. A few minutes later I logged off, log back on and join a team to FSOD on the second save. Good times. It's weird, I always thought that if I corrupted I would quit. I was a bit mad at first, but quickly forgot about it. I'll stick around and try EpII cmode(if it ever comes out/exists), see how ba6 is, and see what other mistakes ST makes in the future. This is also the first time that I had a character corrupt and I've been playing since v1. Anyways, I guess it was just a matter of time before it happened. I wasn't going to pussy out and stop playing because of a fucked up glitch. I don't play to level up, whatever exp I get in a day is fine, be it 2,000 or 300,000. So losing my lv159 character is no big deal, same thing with my items, I had a legit BKB(found the mkb), an untekkered red saber with 70%machine, 3 s-ranks, aura field, and a bunch of other shit that made me look like a dupe user. I won't power level or do any of that gay shit to get back to where I was, I don't plan to get there again. Seriously, how fun is it to do the same thing over and over again? Warp, raf canunes, take pipe hella fast to leave the red thing there, repeat this shit 3943 times a day to get your 97843784939 million exp points a day, fun stuff! I've always wondered why people buy HL's and never play online because they're trying to level up so fast offline. Burgerdog, i saw you last night. You were a lvl 1 FOnewm. I think its cool that your not totally upset about losing your high lvl character, lvl 159 <<gulp>>, Ive yet to get that high myself but you make a good point about ppl who power level, I mean some of us forget to have fun while we play, I admit sometimes I look back and forth at how much i have to go till next level, but pass couple days I havent been doing that, its a lot more fun if you just play and its even cooler if you gain a level when you least expect it. Well Burger, was that the only character you lost, cause ppl say they lose all of their characters if thier on the same card. I guess it can happen to the best of us. I know if i lost my character(s) I wouldnt quit. Although i admit it would be horrid to lose all that time invested. I just play the game for what it is. FUN.

That's the main thing I do on PSO, level. Though I don't do 45698769 SoB quests a day, it'd be hard to restart after losing a LV161+. Just the thought of losing all the items on my 3 main characters is enough to quit, let alone their levels as well? @_@;

Anyway to answer the questions asked, he's on 56K. He was the 4th person to join a game on Alcyone 6, c-mode game. The block wasn't even that full either.

gah corrupted character files on a memory card... is that like your memory card going bad...

PSO has a few bugs but ive learned tricks to save characters if FSOD... but the blackscreen-o-death it might not work with.
ive gotten a frozen screen when i was going through teh ship block lists 2minutes into just loging on, after getting 3 server full messages the screen didnt have any ship blocks listed, so i guess it was FSOD but i removed the phone cord from the GC and after waiting a minute, it told me line was disconnected and i was able to save by pressing start.

this might be the only way to save when BSOD and FSOD

Though that may be true, I still believe that you can't use any techs that you don't know in the normal game in any of the rules, level reset or not. I know that this is the case for offline BA.

Cloak, what I meant is that I wasn't going to stop using my main characters and switch to another one to not get corrupted. As she said, 56k and 4th to join a team in Alcyone ship. I was talking to some people and it seems that the 4th player to join is the one that corrupts most of the time. I don't know if that's true, though. If you corrupted, which player were you?
