Is it even worth letting magashi live to fight thousands of goazoans? I mean I'm a Newman Acrotecher...its hard enough making it there...What Items have you guys got there...besides the rare appearance of the L/K K? I mean, Im afraid...should I go for it? and if so what class/race rapes the wizards the fastest...cause OMG dodging megid and fire sucks...you don't know if you are getting hit or not (Evasion)...but all and all I still love Teching

I've done it a few times. Unfortunately I have yet to get the LKK. Instead I bought one. Takes me approximately 35 minutes on average. The stuff I mainly use is:

Lv41+ buffs, Lv20 hikai with 9/9 36% halp serafi, Lv20 Masei-Shiki (def debuff card; use it for attacking enemies a lot too), 8/8 pushan with Lv30 foie + Lv41 resta.

Those are the most essential things to have for this mission. I just added my weapons for a note on if they would help you whether or not I don't know. But the PAs are recommened for sure.

My experience tells me that Fighmaster is the easiest class for the job because of tornado dance. That then means fighgunner could do it easily too, just not as fast.

I use rifles about 90% of the time. If I'm surrounded by lots of small monsters, I'll pull out a shotgun. It's quite easy thanks to rifle and shotgun hax. If my bullets were all over 41, I could probably run it faster, but oh well :/

Has anyone made youtube vids of the various cutscenes in this Side Story?
I've had bad luck getting through it, due to the Dilnazen trio early on...

For my Neuman (M 150) Acrotecher seems to be the easiest way to go through the Gaozoran part. I did it as a master force, but it took about 20 minutes to beat. As an acrotecher I used Confuse Trap, Yousei-shiki (light card attack), and Rising Strike for pretty much the whole thing.

As a human (F 150) acrofighter was the better option. Much more power behind rising strike and cards tear up most of the creatures. Plus Hishou Jinren-zan for corner trapping the solo Gaozoran. That and the built in stamina plus Armas-Line meant I didn't have to worry about random megid from the Carriguine and could go in and fight.

As a Cast (M 150) fighmaster, I took the cowards way out and let Galdeen hit me until I charged up my SUV, then unleashed. It was pretty easy, but not exactly fair for the competition. ;)

About the Dilnazen room, it's important to kill the Dilnazens first. You'll only end up with three of them on you if you kill too many of the small enemies.

IIRC the kill order goes something like this:

Kill dilnazen
2 anklebiters
dilnazen - 3rd will appear after this dies
dilnazen
then just finish the rest

Depends on your race. If you are a beast with Vande Val, kill all of the Nava Ludda first until you have three Dilnazen, then nanoblast and take out the 4 Dilnazen (only 3 at a time so after you kill one, the last one spawns). That seems to be the quickest way for me when I do it as a beast Gunmaster.

Yeah the missions's pretty easy overall as a beast gunmaster. I go invincible beast at the multiple dilnazen spawns and then for the gaozorans, shoot them once with a rifle so they fall down and then do some damage with the shotgun.

It's the same for CASTs. It's definitely possible to do more as a Beast or Cast by breaking certain rules that the other two races follow. In most speed runs you see by CAST G.M.s they don't bother dodging attacks because they rely on that damage to get their S.U.V. up to quickly deal with the few rough spots a mission might have to offer.

Take the left fence gate and keep Magashi alive for 2 minutes, aka, don't kill him when first fighting him.

I am getting raped at this mission.

I've done it with my fighmaster cast (level 117, FM level 8) a few times and I can't make it to the end.

Killing them is no problem, I just keep getting one-shotted by everything.

[SPOILER-BOX]==Magashi, what are you?==
*Renvolt Magashi: My my! You ask such rude, probing questions! But whatever, I will humor you. The "Magashi" units were formerly attached to the Endrum Collective under Howzer. We manipulated the alliance Military for the Illuminus from the shadows. As copies of Howzer, we faithfully followed Howzer's will. Though over time, unaware amongst ourselves, though Howzer's orders were followed, we didn't always accept them fully. The first time we had that sense of self clarity was... Ah yes, it was the day we were first defeated by Ethan Waber. Howzer's intention was to turn all eyes in the Gurhal System to the Endrum Collective. During the premature celebration of the partial success during the unification point, we worked toward the creation of HIVES, the SEED-Virus and Sochee in secret. For that purpose, we wanted it to be perceived that Renvolt Magashi was dead, and so we stayed out of the spotlight.
*Lou: However, one of your units was driven by revenge. He turned unto a SEED-Form and confronted Ethan at the Egam Holy Grounds.
*Renvolt Magashi: That's right, you were there with Ethan, weren't you? That was the first time I disobeyed Howzer's orders. I used the SEED's instinctive drive to stop the unification point and used an experimental SEED-Form to attack Ethan. And was utterly defeated.
*Lou: But you appeared before us again.
*Renvolt Magashi: That's right. Because I acted on my own will, Howzer intervened. He took direct control of my thoughts and actions, moving me to a HIVE to drive SEED-Virus research. However, while I was pretending to obey, I became aware of a transmitter Professor Taragi, one of the kidnapped researchers, was in possession of. I decided to ignore it, as I believed that Ethan Waber would follow it to the HIVE.
*Lou: You are persistent.
*Renvolt Magashi: I used the power of Dulk Fakis to challenge him again, but was unable to claim victory. The Wabers are definitely a force to be reckoned with. When Howzer was still a person within the organization there was someone who was always one step ahead of him. The Arkguard. He was jealous of Olson Waber. I came to think that perhaps my obsession with Ethan Waber came from Howzer's influence. When I realized that, I lost all feelings of vengeance. However, after ignoring his orders twice, Howzer did not forgive us Magashi units. He judged that there was a bug in our thought programs and eliminated all Magashi units, removing only a sample of Dulk Fakis data, and started mass producing a new series. These new Magashi units did not have the same experience and had rather low combat abilities. The[sic] were inferior copies, though they served as a stopgap measure until the SEED cell-based clone technology was perfected.
*Lou: That must be why the Magashi units we have fought recently have been relatively easy to defeat.
*Renvolt Magashi: However, a single unit of the condemned Magashi units escaped Howzer's destruction and successfully transplanted his memories into the new models and was able to masquerade as one. Me.
*Lou: That means that though you are a Copy CAST, you have a sense of self... A heart?
*Renvolt Magashi: Heh. Well now... I don't know if this is a heart or just a programming glitch. But YOU know, don't you? But this need to fight, this pride, this belongs to no one else. This is mine!

(Area shakes.)

*Lou: ?!
*Renvolt Magashi: It begins!

(Fade to white. Fade in. Background explosions. Exits blown open. Magashi is separated from the Guardians by fires.)

*Lou: Magashi!
*Renvolt Magashi: Escape! Over there! While you still can!
*Lou: What will you do?
*Renvolt Magashi: I will follow Helga. I need to repay her for her interference. I have no further use for you, anyway. [Player]! Until we meet again...

(Magashi runs off. [Player] attempts to follow, but is stopped by Lou.)
*Lou: [Player]. We have to go now, before it is too late.

(Fade to black.)

===Epilogue===
The party managed to escape the explosion in the nick of time, but the fates of Renvolt Magashi and Helga Neumann remain unknown. The GUARDIANS Intelligence Section determined that no further progress could be made and the mission was declared over. But a deeper mystery remains. What is Helga Neumann? As darkness shrouds the Gurhal System, the days of returning peace still appear to be a long way off.

same here, so i changed my cast back to gunmaster. i breeze through now using only twin pistol's and a shotgun with ice bullets. but i only use them on dilnazen's.

twin freeze on everything else. works wonders on the gaozoran's as they freeze too easily :)
total time 19mins.

The secret here for FT is Foie. Always wait for him to back up, then cast hit him with one and move. The Burn plus the Megistar makes his health drop really quickly, and usually he'll be busy targeting your NPC teammates to bother smacking you around. When they go down either wait for them to respawn or use Giresta to get them back up.

You could also use your bow and cards. Bow will apply Burn 4 a little more reliably than Foie, and cards are good for constantly damaging him while you move around.

Note: The melee range for the Argines are incredibly short. They need to be pretty much on top of their target in order to hit them, so it's very easy to run up to them and make them whiff when you run back. That just leaves the Gaozoran to watch out for.
