I never play online(i'm cheap). I usually just play multi player split screen. So I really don't understand sometimes what u guys are saying(i'm a newbie on this forum). So if u guys don't mind u might want to share some cheat terminologies. Like for example what does fsod mean and what exactly does it do to u. So if any body has free time take some time to post something http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

BSOD/FSOD mean Black/Frozen Screen Of Death. What happens is the game will freeze up and crash. The only way to get out of it when it occurs is to turn off the power.

PSO requires you to log out. When a BSOD happens, you can't log out. You are forced to turn off the GC. Because of that, the game will think something is wrong, and it will either do 3 things. 1) It will do nothing. 2) It will delete all items your character is carrying. 3) The game will think your character is corrupted and you will not be able to play as the character at all.

Most of the time, you just lose items or nothing will happen, but the chances of the losing your character is decent too, from what I hear when FSODs occured. I never had a character corrupted, but I lost some nice items though.

Dam makes me want to stay away from online play. Better stick to split screen http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Your character only becomes corrupted from FSOD if it happens during a save, which is why the double save uped the likely hood of it happening.
Some other cheat terms are:
Dupe: a duplicated item, performed by abusing a game glitch.
PK: Player Kill
CK: Character Kill
NOLing: Code on Dreamcast to turn a character into a lvl 5 HUnewearl named NOL.
There are more I just can't think of them right now and none of these things can be done by players on the Gamecube...at least not yet.
