Do you have a party offline?

u know like u have 3 other members of your "party" online all over the world, well do u have 3 other computer members tag along with you offline?

as you can tell i'm not very far into the game.
I'm currently fighting the De Rol Le, the Caves boss, and he's really pissing me off.
can anyone tell me the answer to my first post and give me some hints on how to beat that friggin worm?

There is no permanent party you pickup and lead around like in every single other PS game. In some of the quests, you will get to lead around a single team-mate, as you help them complete their goals. If they kick-over however, the quest ends and you must start that quest over. Just be sure you and your charge don't die at the same time. You'll lose your current weapon, and the meseta on you permanently.

The cave's boss is fairly easy to me now that I have devised a strategy...

If you are a RAmar...find a Shotgun and blast away at it while it is swimming near your raft. If not, use a handgun to shoot at it's head while it's swimming.

When it lands on the raft head first, make sure you brought the saber or sword (depending on your class) and whack at it's head.

Minimum Level I would say to beat this boss...

alrite thx for the advice... but there's something else i need to know about that boss.
i can easily get through all his attax anytime, there's just 1 thing that i can't figure out...
it's when he comes up to the side of the raft, and he shoots those little purple clouds out at me.
i can NEVER dodge them, except i did twice on accident.
How can i evade those?

I've always positioned myself at the back corner of the raft farthest away from him, and wait till he spits those little blue glowing balls out. When he does, stay on the same side of the raft, and head to the front corner. His goo should pass safely behind you. Works for me about 85% of the time.
