Question about TECHs

This question has probably been answered here before, but I can't find it... anyway, here goes.

Q: Do the techs undertake graphical and range upgrades when you level them passed 30 on the 360?

I heard techs only reach their full potential on the PC version. If this is true, then why make a Masterforce at all? I'm playing a Level 10 Fortetecher at the moment.

They do, however only you can see the graphical changes. They implemented that a while ago to cut down on lag. And I dunno what you mean with the PC version. They have the same techs as you guys.

only you can see the techs past lvl 31. however, if you were to level up a tech, say ramegid, in the middle of a mission to any level above 31, then others in your party will be able to see it on the block you leveled it up on.
